Chelsea and Spurs will be bankrolled. Sunderland and Boro? They were bankrolled
The thing is, if your position is we should only Pay for what we can afford, then we can never compete can we?
You seem to be saying That given a choice between investment and no investment you prefer no investment. Which is fine, but it means we will never rise above where we are now. You
Also seem to be suggesting that chairman don't invest. Spurs Chelsea City. Boro they have all benefitted from rich owners

Spurs stadium isn't being bankrolled by the owner.

In fact, they've got until the end of the month to confirm whether the loans are in place to complete the project, as if they aren't then they won't be taking up the option of using Wembley next season.

Oh and btw they reckon the naming rights will sell for £30m per annum - which is twice what our annual repayment on BMD will be.....

Fair enough, Joe Lewis has certainly been a beneficial influence at the Lane and bough.
Regardless, I take it you are happy with Mosh not putting in any 'real' money. Fine. I just don't think a lot of fans realised that this would be the case.

At what point did I say I prefer no investment? Oh yeah I didnt..
Did I say chairman don't invest? You need to go to Specsavers mate... I actually said what chairman has dipped into their own pocket and paid for a stadium... that's WHOLLY different from investing isn't it? Sunderland and Boro's stadium were not paid for out of their owners pockets.. . And neither will spurs and chelsea.

At least read what's been said rather than making stuff up to fit whatever agenda you have...

Apart from £80m......

And I think most can understand that he's stuck £80m in so far, it just seems to be you that's struggling with it mate.

I don't have an agenda
You asked yourself who should pay for the stadium, the club (i.e. No investment) or the owner (which would be investment). And bizarrely you prefer the half billion debt. That's why I said you SEEM to prefer no investment, a reasonable conclusion to draw

Bizarrely?? It's called being realistic!! Like has been pointed out many times by lots of people not one single owner in the premiership has paid for a stadium out of their own pocket.. so why on earth do we expect moshiri to?

You are right Joe Lewis and alike have sunk in huge amounts into their clubs. Although i doubt even he would pay the 500 + million that the new white hart lane will cost.

The thing is they are a lot richer than Moshiri. They also own their clubs so the investment is all theirs to take. Why would you put in 2 pounds if £1.02 of that was going to end up with people who aren't investing in any money?

If the club keeps on improving when he isn't investing what's the problem? If we end up going stale and it doesn't look like we are moving forward then you will have a good reason to question him.

Good grief.

It's called a stakeholder loan, and this one is interest free and has no repayment schedule. It's how people invest in their own businesses.[/QUOTE
There are all kinds of investment I suppose. With loans being one of the weakest, but if you're happy with loans then good for you. Go and tell City and Chelsea and Liverpool all about our cool new loan, and how that is all we've had in by way of investment. They may say 'Big Deal'

Yes I agree with a lot of that. It's just all a far cry from some of the stuff we've heard earlier that we are now going to be major players
