Improving? In what tangible way? Continuing a policy of recycling player sales, continuing to be still at the talking stage of a new stadium, finishing way off the pace of CL places?

Any or all of that will need to change to make any claim of improvement stand up.

We're shuffling existing quality assets out the door and ushering a clutch of new and largely unproven assets through it. That's the story of the summer so far.

The fact that we've spent the thick end of £100m on players and it's the 5th of July should give you a clue like.

As for shuffling existing quality assets out of the door - who Cleverley and McGeady? lol The only quality players who'll be leaving want to leave, that's football, and no-one of quality has gone anywhere yet........

We see players we know have proven talent replaced by players who are unknown quantities or else good prospects.

It's not about volume, it's about quality.

A few are risks granted.
We have gambled on Pickford continuing his development towards being the best (Southall lauded him, and that is as good a seal of approval as you can get)
Keane is Top Class.

"Thick end of £100M", you say.

...where have I heard that figure before? Oh yeah. Lukaku's fee.

lollollollollollollollollollol

'Snakes and Judas's'.

Lol.

They're just too good for the team. This manager cant impress them and/or alienates them They want out because of it. It's hard to handle for you, I know.

Never mind, he'll get players in he can control a bit more. Hard working drones mostly.

Onward and...erm...

Keane is the only one worth talking about as potential top class. he has his faults also though, and they need working on.

Lets be clear. Raiding relegated clubs for players isn't really anything to shout about. Seeing posts about signing Rodriguez from RM to take us to the next level, I mean what are some of you actually smoking? Deary me. He's probably never even heard of Everton.

When did Chelsea write us the cheque like? They've done well keeping that one out of the news....

To try and make out that nothing has changed is barking man, we've spent more on players now under Moshiri than we did in the previous 8 years...Lukaku will almost certainly go, but he's not gone yet, and yet we've already lumped out a mind boggling amount of cash, when have we EVER done that before in our modern history? If you could point that out I'd appreciate it. Cheers.

I am sure the former Ajax captain won't be too bad like! o_O

I do share the reservations with others about players from the Dutch league at the moment, particularly with their national side being really poor too. He was also anonymous in his biggest match to date (the Europa final). Should be good but am cautious.
