Koeman hasn't really had a choice to drop Rooney until Niasse started showing his worth. It was unfair of the club to saddle Wayne with the Goal scoring responsibility. I don't blame Koeman for anything, the board should have ensured that we got a replacement for Rom instead of penny pinching. We have a Billionaire owner who should have offered £150M for Kane, or someone better than Lukaku and rattled a few cages. The fans deserve to see this team win most games with a capable and talented team envied by other clubs.
Maybe we should only look to the Premier league for players acclimatised to its level instead of throwing the likes of Klaasen and Sandro and expecting them to cope.
When managers take the fall for the failings of their pay masters it's almost a crime. Come the winter window I hope our fans are redirecting their anger at the board and not at Koeman if they don't secure us a world class striker.
