Because of the Arsenal connection there is a temptation to think of Usanov and Moshiri as a couple in strictly business terms.
However, I think that to continue the analogy there has been an amicable separation and both parties are now free to live their own lives.

What happens next depends on the ambitions that Moshiri has for the club.
He brings a level of wealth to the club that we previously only dreamed about. However , to buy the previous share holders, build a new stadium and invest enough money in the team to make us very competitive will probably cost in total seven hundred million.

If the ambition of Moshiri is to make Everton a really big club then he probably needs to get other investors in to spend that level of money.

The ground will cost us only a fraction of what people think.

There will be funding towards it, grants, ponsorship deals etc, but at least now we have money on the table previously we wanted it all for free.

The last few years have really exposed them for what they are, it's incredible how universally loathed they are.

I think what we have known,well from my own experience going back forty odd years,you get to know the score with them and what they are like,but generally the rest of the country bought the "myth" of the the best club/team/fans in the world that they spread through the RS infested media,however I think it is Suarez/Gerrard and Rodgers we should doff our caps to,in general now after the title they were going to "win"(and lost)the mass football public are now onto them and they are actually despised now universally,not just at Goodison/Old Trafford IMHO.(apols Mods)
