Moshiri's Monsters - our best XI out of the money he has shelled out.

Pickford £30m
Williams £12m
Keane £25m
Martina £Free
Klaassen £24m
Scheiderlin £25m
Bolasie £25m
Sigurdsson £45m
Tosun £20m
Walcott £20m
Gueye £7m

Total: £233m
Managed by £30m of managerial compensation ending up with Sam Allardyce in charge.

They money has been there.

This is one of the most expensive teams in Europe.
Wow seeing it in a list like that really hits home.

Steve Walsh must wake up every morning and wonder how he's still in a job.

I wonder how much the Spurs team cost if you line up their 1st eleven.

Lloris £15m
Aurier £23m
Vertongen £10m
Sanchez £42m
Alderweireld £11m
Davies - makeweight selling Siggy
Dier £4m
Ali £4m
Son £10m
Kane Free
Eriksen £10m

Lots of other transfers that haven't worked out BUT these players have been young enough to sell on - apart from Sissoko who is the only stand out "prime age" mistake - and we tried to get him for that fee!

Most of those Spurs players were signed before the latest price explosion, whereas everyone on the Everton list came after. How much would it cost to sign 2012 Hugo Lloris today? Probably triple his actual 2012 price tag.

Adjust Spurs’ previous business to current-day prices and it would surely be at least as much as what Everton has spent.

Perhaps but almost every player is worth massively more than they paid. We'd lose at least half our money.

True, you can’t deny they’ve bought very well.

Still curious how much of this summer’s bad business was down to Koeman and how much was down to Walsh. You’d think if Walsh was the main culprit he would have been sacked along with RK.

...folk think we have to sell to spend. I suppose we’ve brought in £15m for Barkley and a few bob more for the likes of Walsh. Interesting.

You always have to have a bit of balance and trading is part of it, but we are being supported and dropping big sums in each window.

The posted accounts are very healthy, whatever you think of left backs and particular players or decision, the club is being supported.
