id rather have someone who has brought a team to the big show when historically they had no right in being here, than another "big name" who will be more of the same potentially

Got to be someone who's teams plays a modern expansive attacking style and preferably won things and also experienced in European competition.

We are broken as a club. That's happened with Moshiri in control and not before.

Before Moshiri, we were stagnant in the league, moving backwards commercially, riddled with debt and stuck at Goodison (pending a miracle).

Broken in the sense that we are seen by almost all as a club that's now part of the fodder that make up the PL and not a club poised to break through to the elite.

He's overseen that with his hopeless managerial appointments and the waste of £300M generated by once in a generation player sales receipts and hiked tv revenue.

As for being more financially secure: he plans to load over half a billion quid in debt onto the club if he gets his way.
