The scary thought about the summer is not how much we need to change but how bad the teams below us are this year. If come next season the level increases again and we stroll up expecting to just get better then I am really worried about how bad things are going to be. I have a gut feeling that the board level will just exoect things to get better and where Sam probably won't be here, the Everton spirit of giving anyone another chance will keep Walsh in charge and see similar levels of crap get bought over the new managers head.

He's clueless mate. There's no answer coming from that source. Our only hope is we get SA out and someone like Silva gets us hitting the ground running and we get momentum.

I think we'll be in real trouble next season unfortunately.

Dont be silly

That aside, I dont think i can trust Moshiri to go out and find a replacement for Sam, along with the rest of the board i really dont, he will be able to get some one, as in anyone bang average to poor, bit like Silva i guess, but chances are it will be another no mark time waster who wont take us forward, no chance of him getting a decent manager

If he has any intention if being here long term he's got to get a grip of things Dario. The DoF is a farce, recruitment is a farce, managerial appointment has been a farce, pay outs have been a farce.

The lack of guts and energy today was embarrassing. Such a gutless squad of imbalanced players. He's signed off all of this, he's agreed to it, he's culpable.

If the stadium goes tits up he will be hounded out anyway but there's no way fans will stand for another season of crap like this one.

Sack Allardyce, sack Walsh, sort the board members out and start acting, sounding like a big club and following up the words with actions.

I am prepared to cut Moshiri some slack on the outcome of the football decisions made at the club over the last two years, but only if he takes action soon to try and rectify matters.

There is absolutely no justification for Walsh to still be here. If we are going to keep the DOF model, we need Walsh out and a replacement in now, or at the latest in May.

Whilst I’m disheartened at our current state, it’s still entirely possible to generate hope and enthusiasm by getting a new manager in and beginning the process of another overhaul.

We have been also-rans for pretty much all of the existence of the PL, let’s not kid ourselves. Every season seems to be more important than the last but if Moshiri hasn’t learnt harsh lessons from this season, then he never will.

The next few weeks present the opportunity to gut the club of the ranks of those who are comfortable in failure and mediocrity. Not only comfortable in it, but who have made entire careers wallowing in it.

There really does have to be a Night of the Long Knives at the club, too many people are unredeemable and toxic now and that is at every level. Too many names are poisonous and lacking any shred of credibility.

If it’s more of the same then we’ll get more of the same but frankly I think people’s willingness to accept whatever crap is served up to them is waning significantly. They ignore that at their peril.

We cant even outspend Watford Ffs! This has made me so angry!

This is why so many are falling out of love with the game, when you can have some disease riddled whore of an agent saying to a club, hard faced, give me four or five million or i’ll make him sign for somebody else. And the disease riddled whore of a player, just sits back and lets them get on with it? Horrendous state of affairs!

We’re in the top 6 spenders in the league in the agents fees, agree though that the agents are correcting the game massively.

If he jettisons Elstone Walsh and Allardyce in one summer, brings in Brand, and we get confirmation on the council funding for the stadium do we all like him again?
