Sam Allardyce reveals he's met with Farhad Moshiri to discuss plans for the summer
Everton's board could be set for a summer shake-up with reports suggesting Farhad Moshiri is set to increase his shares in the club.

The Iranian billionaire acquired 49.9% if the Blues back in February 2016 to become major shareholder after selling his stake in fellow Premier League club Arsenal to Alisher Usmanov.

The club are now heading in to what will certainly be an important summer - both on and off the pitch.

A shake-up of the playing squad is required - whilst there are still questions over the future of Sam Allardyce , whether a new director of football will be brought in and what the situation is with the club's chief executive Robert Elstone.

However, according to a report in the Times , Moshiri will start this important period by increasing his shares in Everton to 58.9% by buying out John Woods.

Everton's current deputy chairman currently owns shares of 8.9%, but the Iranian billionaire is said to be seeking to exercise his option to buy that portion of the club.

That would leave the Blues looking for a new deputy chairman, with Keith Harris lined up as the likely successor.

The 65-year-old has been a director at Everton since October 2016 and acted as an advisor when Moshiri first invested into the club.

Harris has in the past advised on the sale and purchase of numerous clubs including Chelsea, Manchester City, Aston Villa and West Ham - whilst also serving as an advisor to Manchester United, Spurs and Celtic for many years.

However, speaking in 2010, United's chief executive David Gill had some choice words about Harris, who was the figurehead of the Red Knights attempt to take over the club.

He said: "Keith Harris will go anywhere there's a bit of publicity around. We know that and we accept that. That's his modus operandi."

His drop-off in wealth cannot be seen as anything other than negative, but it was not and is not at a level to make a material difference to our fortunes.

The increase in spending has been brought about largely from sales and TV revenue, though still to be welcomed.

Delivery on the stadium and reform of the business, commercial and football side of the club are Moshiri’s remit. Sadly to date there is nothing much to note on any aspect.

It’s imperative the personnel changes happen without delay. We still have to look to Spurs as our model, in making the next manager appointment and spending money cautiously and wisely. I don’t believe at all that the next manager will have the same level of resources given to Koeman and even Allardyce.

Wasnt his wealth when he took over £1.3 billion, looks like its gone up if anything to me.

I think im also right in saying that these lists often dont give a true reflection of someone actual wealth.
