I wonder now Newcastle look to become Man City MrkII if Moshiri will have doubts about spending big money now?

I imagine any hope of crashing the top 4/6 will be gone if the Geordies do what City have done.

Wouldn't be shocked if he sells up as soon as the stadium planning permission / funding is in place.
U ok? Tb.

What’s his vision for this club?

What are these plans, as BS Bill put it, ‘beyond the wildest dreams of any Evertonian’?

We continue to sell our most valuable assets, we are only aiming to build the 8th largest club stadium in the country and we continue to be unsuccessful on the pitch.

It’s more like a nightmare.

The goal of any successful football club going into the long term should be self sustainability, it may take initial investment, but that should be the end product of any investment.

No one should wish to be drip fed by a singular third party entity.

So we now drop further down the pecking order.

Wolves and Newcastle are better ‘projects’ than ourselves.

We’ve got this fella with his super executive team, including: Kenwright, DBB, Woods and Harris.

Basket case of a club. Still, we’ve got the consultation about designs that may or may not be the designs we go with to look forward to in another two months. Then we may or may not put in a planning application on a stadium that is way too small.

What a time to be a blue. Nothing will ever be the same.

He has to borrow the money.

He was borrowing to buy Liverpool too....that went well for him.

Yep definitely.

Said it a while ago the only way to progress in the PL now is with a massively wealthy owner who doesnt care for FFP or being state backed where they can sponser your club to millions to get around FFP.

If Newcastle where to effectively take that final european spot 7th what would be the point anymore in this league as all the other 13 clubs would just be fighting to stay up every year.

I would honestly rather be in the Championship and atleast be able to compete for the title / playoffs.
What an absolute beaut of a person you really are .
You and your multi's were put right in your place a month or so ago.
Some thought you'd seen sense when you came back.
But nope .....just exactly the same.

Newcastle are now a more attractive proposition than us. Another club we’re now behind in the pecking order.

Moshiri should’ve sold up as soon as he heard that they wanted to buy into a Premier League club.

If it is true that Qatar want a Premier League club, he should be banging on their door now.

Really interesting if these Newcastle and Leeds deals are legit and go ahead. With the FFP rules in place it will be a slower rise but with bottomless pits of money it is just a matter of time before they close the gap to the established 6.

From our perspective fairly depressing and not great timing with the new stadium plans. At this rate we are going to be doing well in a few years to scrape into the top half as there will be 9 teams better resourced then us. I wonder if ultimately we will also receive that next level investment in the not too distant future once Moshiri has laid the foundations.

For the wider premier league I am wondering if it kills off the super league considering how strong the EPL is going to be in a couple of years or potentially accelerates it with the established 6 clubs not wanting to compete every season with the the new rich clubs for 4 CL places.

Or maybe he would prefer to see out the job hes started here?

He couldnt sell us and make a profit at this current time anyway.

I hope this is true, of course.

But how does that square with the reports of him being worth 116 billion?

Have you got any links about his need to borrow?
