Newcastle are now a more attractive proposition than us. Another club we’re now behind in the pecking order.

Moshiri should’ve sold up as soon as he heard that they wanted to buy into a Premier League club.

If it is true that Qatar want a Premier League club, he should be banging on their door now.

In what way, shape or form are Newcastle flaming United a more attractive proposition that us you cringey beaut?

They aren't right now, but you don't need to have a great memory to remember a time when they were. If someone worth 116 billion is about to takeover at Newcastle, then the prospect isn't exactly far fetched. I hope this is all hot air, though.

Bigger stadium
One club city
Owner backed up by £118bn

Take your pick.

Resorting to insults, you sad little man.

Shouldnt really fear other teams tho.

Its not about other teams, its about us improving, not many takeovers go as people planned, Moshiri has done nothing but throw money at us and to use your words, we arent any better off, Liverpool have spent 1.5bn to try and win the League, still waiting, money doesnt equal success, City are the reason FFP exists and VERY soon they will get utterly rammed for breaking ALL The rules.

But basically we shouldnt worry about anybody else, its Everton that needs to improve, if we can do that, it doesnt matter.

Rich coming from an utter cry arse wetting themselves over Newcastle and Villa for Christ sake it's embarrassing behavior you and your cronies have been showing. It's summer time, the seasons over, take a break

What’s the job?

He’s never said what his vision is for the club.

A continuation of stagnation is all I can see.

Some people cant see the woods from the trees.

We once were a top 6 club more often than not under Moyes - Man City took us out of it.

Newcastle likely to soon become another Man City - eventually they'll take us out of top 7.

What is our aim in a league where our highest realistic finish is 8th and gets you nowhere not even Europa?

Believe me fans will get bored over the years- Man City started the decline of English football and Newcastle may be the club to finish it. Fans will eventually get bored of the oil monied clubs dominating every year with the old monied clubs like Utd and Kopites still able to sign £60 millon players on 250k a week contracts whilst the rest of us fight for 40 points and the odd cup semi final.

Or maybe he would prefer to see out the job hes started here?

He couldnt sell us and make a profit at this current time anyway.

I'm not Moshiri's biggest plan, but some of the panic around people who may or may not be buying other clubs spending seems odd to me. We heard it all last year about Wolves. Yet they have spent less money than us. So it's an odd starting point to be that Moshiri hasn't spent enough money. Lets wait and see if people are going to come in and blow the league apart ah la Manchester City. I have serious doubts (for reasons expressed in the Newcastle thread).

The issue for Moshiri was always about the plan he had. Over the last 12 months we have a decent plan. I'd like better. I'd like a bigger name CEO/Chairman. I'd like higher commercial growth. However it's a good plan, with a strong DOF and a coach to match. Lets wait and see what these supposed rivals will do. Lobbing money at it aimlessly will not work well (as we have found).

You’ve literally got another club’s crest as your display picture because you’re worrying Liverpool will win the CL.

When we’ve had nothing for decades, it is a genuine worry that yet another team will leapfrog us, making it even harder to become a successful team.

Everton make up the numbers and a large portion of the fans have come to accept it.

Even by your massively manic depressive standards, this is beyond parody.

The ink isn't even dry on their contract yet, they haven't signed a player yet and the last time I checked, no games have been played since the last game of the season for either club.

Why don't you at least wait to see how things pan out a little before going into mass hysteria and pissing your pants?
