Footie aint for you fella.

Love how when you have no credible answer you come out with some juvenile reply "footie aint for u lad" "ur a kopite" "someting someting Multi's"

Facts are we make up the numbers and will even more so when these lads muscle into the European places.

You can keep playing with yourself dreaming of Mosh, Billy K and Uncle Cyril leading us to glory but its a pipe dream.

Always wondered how these billionares haven’t bought Newcastle, ticks all the boxes imo. One club city, ready made stadium and decent size fanbase.

It does make you wonder if there will be anymore developments with moshiri’s shares etc when we get planning permission

For clarification I aint attacking Mosh - he'll be daft selling now before getting the new ground sorted.

My problem is with Kenwright for failing twice to get game changing investors through the door. All because he knows they would boot him out the door the minute the ink is dry on the contracts whereas Moshiri has been happy to keep him on as Chairman to hang around like a bad smell with his cronies.

Wouldn’t worry about the money at Newcastle. Money isn’t our issue. We can probably pay mode in transfers than Spurs but it’s not getting us anywhere as we have been recruiting poorly both in terms of players and managers until Brands arrived. Newcastle splashing cash wouldn’t necessarily mean they’d move ahead of us, it would only be if they acquire talent better than we do.

Exactly this

This. We’ve outspent Spurs by some margin so by the logic flying around on this forum tonight we must’ve muscled them out the way.

I don't think it's as much as he wanted to keep him on, it's more a convenience until he can buy out the remaining stake he needs.

Thats my point- im pretty sure Moshiri would have loved getting rid of the clown as soon as he bought into us however Kenwright has given these daft conditions of sale.

Its what realistically has stopped him bringing in these types of big investors - no chance Sheikh Mansour and his elite executives like Mubarak would accept BK hanging around for over 3 years like a bad smell.

He's an egomaniac who is largely responsible for our barren trophy run.

Egomaniac is a bit strong, I don't think he does have one. If anything it's his cronies that have the ego's, none of them done much for the club and may have allowed for an earlier sale if they'd sold their shares but they like the fact they have stakes with out having to do much with them

Agreed, they'll go through the same teething troubles we have, you can't just overpay to get a team full of superstars inside one window. They want to know they will be a part of a successful team too. That means before you get to X you have to pass through A, B, C etc.

Let's hope we have a team challenging the top four next season, if we don't we could find ourselves up against a few teams for the same type of player.
