The kopite infested media are leading the calls for points deduction thats true. What's not true is they are misrepresenting UEFA's investigation into City. It's not going away.

They have massively pulled in the spending. Maybe it's a coincidence that it coincides with the investigation. I suspect they are linked.

As for Newcastle. That's perhaps fair. They need to increase their performance by 75% to get anywhere close to being in the top 4. That is highly unlikely to happen.

To be blunt, if another club try to pull another state sponsor stunt I would rule out no option. Long term ban from Europe. Points deduction. Transfer ban etc.The top teams will insist upon it (which is also driving whats happening on City). The owners will not want to risk that.

Guess we'll see mate.

For what its worth I disagree completely with FFP as its a tool used by the elite to keep the rest of us down. If UEFA are serious about fair play then introduce a salary and spend cap - I just think this takeover could be a disaster for a club like us who realistically fight it out for 1 european spot in 7th with 6 bigger clubs well ahead of us - a 7th oil backed giant could take the enjoyment out of this league completely for the rest of us who'll be fighting it out for 8th and no europe every year barring the odd season or so.

Love how when you have no credible answer you come out with some juvenile reply "footie aint for u lad" "ur a kopite" "someting someting Multi's"

Facts are we make up the numbers and will even more so when these lads muscle into the European places.

You can keep playing with yourself dreaming of Mosh, Billy K and Uncle Cyril leading us to glory but its a pipe dream.
Coming on here bleating , moaning ,whingeing and cryarsing isnt gonna change the club one iota.

Every sane fan / supporter can see there were serious wrongs done under Koeman & Walsh and understands its will take some fixing.
We can all see a clear plan now if you cant I suggest you look elsewhere for your kicks.

If you dont like it.....
Write to the club mate.
Tell them your not satified , show them your FM teamsheets and how the club should be run.
I'm sure you'll get some credible answers from them.

In fact get the rest of your multi's to do the same , you may just get plenty of answers.

Group of various sellers....

Jon Woods
Bill Kenwright

Abercromby.

Why are they all acting in cohort to restrict a buyer from obtaining control until he puts some stadium plans in place?

Also, what is the "trigger", because the stadium plans are not concrete yet and won't be for some time. The exercise of the option didn't even follow any significant stadium announcement.

It just doesn't add up.

I am too mate. However what control do we have over what other teams will do? And in all honesty, what difference does 6 to 7 mean?

We need to spend money well, it's not like there is no money available is there?

This is such a haunting photo. Whatever you think about Farhad Moshiri's campaign run as Everton owner, it's impossible not to feel sorry for him as a person.

Agreed think its frustration that this club has had many chances over the years to attract game changing investment yet its felt like Kenwright held us back year on year for his own ego.

EFC with a future new stadium on the Docks of a world renowned city/waterfront is a much bigger catch than Newcastle in the North East imo yet for me we have never utilised our sleeping giant status.

They are trying mate but I have a lot of sympathy with that view. Our job/aim is to be the best. Let everyone else do what they want. We aim to be the best. Kenwright is not the best and I would like to see us getting people in who are.

Just on the FFP issue, my understanding is that City have only ever been penalised by UEFA, and that the Premier League have done absolutely nothing when it comes to FFP in the Premier League?

City's 50 million pound 'fine' actually came in the form of withholding prize money, which I presume is prize money from UEFA run competitions, and was met with a shrug of the shoulders from Manchester City.

I'm not sure UEFA or the Premier League would do anything at all if a club was to dismiss FFP restrictions and they ended up finishing 5th or whatever, and if a club has access to that amount of money then it will be met with the same shrug of the shoulders that they get from Manchester City.

FFP can't be completely dismissed, but it's not the massive restriction some people make it out to be, which some clubs hide behind as an excuse for failing to invest.

FFP is a UEFA rule, STCC is a Premier League rule.

Lets wait and see before we claim City can breach rules without punishment.
