If that is true, (which I doubt), it would be insane. In a bad way.
If the rumour about Moshiri trying to influence Benitez on bringing in Coutinho the we are stuffed. The club have just announced Graham Sharp as a non-executive director with a view to using his footballing knowledge at board level. I don’t know what his position will be in relation to the manager who surely is the arbitrator on football matters. If MoshirI, Sharp and Benitez all have a say on who we buy it looks like we haven’t learned from our mistakes and we will continue to buy random players who when played together means their output is so much less than the sum of their parts.

Wouldn't believe that.
No evidence anywhere that Moshiri has signed players apart from social media goss which the likes of the athletic hacks picked up on and passed off as concrete.

The problem with the Iwobi rumour is Silva himself said we were chasing him for a while whereas the rumours go that Moshiri got him in after the Zaha transfer never happened which was a matter of days.

Alladyce had scouted him at a previous club. Not saying Moshiri never wanted him as well but its not like he was just willy nilly signing players over the manager/DOF like the rumours go.

Niasse (which makes sense as Martinez barely played him and was gone soon after) and Iwobi are they other rumoured ones.
