I wouldn't bother mate - the bedwetting bandits will counter anything you say with "something something carpetbagger" "something something someone elses dough".

Without Moshiri there was no Usmanov money same way without Shiekh Mansour City have no unlimited Abu Dhabi state funds.

Good post though - mirrors what the silent majority in the fanbase feel that Moshers has ultimately failed but gave it a damn good go with big investment for players and kick starting our new stadium build.
Although Moshiri has obviously made some fundamental mistakes during his tenure, I would largely agree with you here.
I am also increasingly aware of the toxicity rising amongst the fan base, which is largely created within social media circles.

809 out of how many hundreds of thousands of Evertonians worldwide? ?‍♂️

This forum is representative of fans from all over the world, of all different backgrounds. Obviously hundreds of thousands of Everton fans aren’t going to be congregating in the same forum and vote in the same poll. But it’s still representative, and 90% seems like a fairly good estimate of how many Everton fans in total are dissatisfied with the state of the club under your hero’s stewardship. I bet the total percentage wouldn’t be far off that figure at all if there was any possible way of quantifying it. You aren’t the “majority” of anything.

If they are silent, how does he know what they are thinking?

Also, it's an anonymous poll, so even on here, the silent majority aren't happy with him.

That's it in a nutshell for me,as you say their CVs pointed to being solid appointments.

Steve Walsh was a scout, he had absolutely zero track record as a DOF. Koeman had essentially been “successful” (not sacked) in one job in his career and was called out as a massively underwhelming appointment at the time by many on here. He was appointed because he was a boss player and our clueless owner wanted a “big name”, he’s said so himself. A lot of us tried our best to be positive about them because what else were we meant to do? But we have the benefit of hindsight now and they were outrageously poor and nonsensical appointments.

Although not universally welcomed at the time both Koeman and Silva were seen as decent appointments by most of the fan base. Pierara had been touted as our manager by fans over several seasons would he have done an equal or better job than Lampard? We'll never know.
I think Koeman was reasonably well received although some had reservations( I was not one of those)

The appointment of Silva was met with resignation and vague hope that he would do well even those people didn't expect to succeed.
I didn't think it was a good appointment, too risky and a manager who needed more experience and more success before taking on a club like Everton.

I would have no problems with us using external finance to fund the development, Abramovich was going to do it for the Stamford Bridge redevelopment if he was ever able to get that off the ground and he is far wealthier than Moshiri is so pursuing finance seemed normal to me. How we haven't secured the full amount though is very concerning as I thought it would have been something forthcoming once we moved away from the SPV with the council.

It's something we're going to have to box off soon otherwise the installments that you allude to may well get paid using player sales as I fail to see how Moshiri can pick up the tab for us anymore. There have to be major questions surrounding his personal liquidity given who and where his money comes from.
I'm just an Ordinary Joe on these matters but from reading and fan podcasts etc, the clear message I get is that commercial lending could not be secured for the stadium, and there would potentially have to be changes in club management before it could be. Not sure if that means appointing a new Chairman/CEO or both, and/or Moshiri selling a majority holding.

Commercial funding over 25/30 years is commonplace for a development of this nature, just a bigger mortgage as I see it. If we've tried and cannot secure funding, then its a huge problem and a huge rejection of Everton as a business operation, very obviously.

So, either Moshiri stumps up from what must be ever decreasing personal funds, or he sells and in that scenario, I'd imagine we'd secure external funding.

This doesn't seem like something that's just going to resolve itself so that's where my concern is. It seems Moshiri has to absorb a certain level of loss and sell to an entity/group that can secure the funding, and provide more general stability.

This all sounds very logical and informed, and probably not far off the mark.

I think it's obvious at this point that we have failed to secure commercial funding to cover the whole project. There was a delay in the original plans being released as the club said everything would be ready once we had received planning permission and secured funding, and we know only one of those things actually happened.

We'll be able to infer a lot more about the situation once this summer window shuts and we've seen what business we've been able to do. A minimum spend will suggest to me that we are diverting revenues from player sales to the continued funding of the ground.

Internet polls dont tell the full story - most if not all internet polls consistently have Kenwright as being hated by the fans yet 30k+ clapped his grid at Goodison.

No doubt they'll be many who want Sir Farhad gone but the majority will still respect the man for at least trying to make a success of things.

The issue is you want everything to be viewed as black or white when the silent majority can see the subtle grey in such a discussion.

Can you please evidence that the supposedly silent majority can see that? Because all we have is a very vocal wham expert spouting that they can.
