Not defending Kenwright by any means but is it him who is refusing to sack Lampard? Unlikely as we know Moshiri has taken matters in his own hands with regards firing and replacing managers on multiple occasions.

Is it Kenwright refusing to sanction any purchases to help us stay up?

No, it’s this fool who hadn’t set foot in the ground for well over a year now.

I'm pretty sure some of the debt is now equity
Just had a 2 minute look at the accounts on Companies House and in broad terms about 250 mil owed to Farhad Moshiri is treated as "other capital /reserves"
What I hadn't looked at for a while was external debt which would appear to be approx 130mil in "other loans" as opposed to "bank borrowing"per the 2021 accounts.
30 mil (very approx) is a CBILS loan from COVID times and the other 100 mil I think is our old friend Rights and Media Media Finance Limited who no longer get their funding from Carroch Holdings/Kirkton Investments(both IoM Companies), but from MH Finance Ltd which is registered in the Bahamas.
RMF boys used to get their funding from Mousehole Ltd(somewhere in the Carribbean) who were at least linked by the media to our former preferred lender against future revenues, VIBRAC.
Be interesting to see what has changed when 2022 accounts are filed in March (presumably), but I would suspect very little on the external debt.

Who brought him to the club?

Spot on, Moshiri has gone from one extreme to the other when it comes to spending and sacking.
