Didn't Baxendale back in December last year go on about 2 major investments for the club to be announced early in January..... Heard nothing from her hot lips since

US investment firm MSP Sports Capital is considering a potential investment in England’s Everton Football Club, people with knowledge of the matter said.

Not sure if this is good or bad but In Bloomberg
The boss man seems to be Jahm Najafi, an Iranian by birth, but lived in the States for a long time. Personal net worth given as $3.5 billion, involved with many businesses, the Phoenix Suns and McLaren amongst others. Maybe something in this one, given the Iranian heritage.

New York City-based MSP Sports Capital has completed five investments since its founding in 2019.

These include minority investments in:

McLaren Racing,

Waasland Beveren, a Belgian soccer club and in

FC Augsburg, a German soccer club.

The firm also holds a majority stake in Estoril Praia, a Portuguese soccer club.

It has sole ownership of AD Alcorcón, a Madrid, Spain-based soccer club.

Some money, 250 mill for a 15% stake in McClaren:

In 2020 MSP invested roughly $250 million for a 15 percent stake in the McLaren Formula One team alongside co-investors UBS O’Connor and The Najafi Companies, a private investment firm where Najafi is owner and CEO. With the investment, Najafi became a vice-chairman of McLaren Racing and Moorad joined the board of directors.

Their board are interesting in their CV's, although not mega rich. Another guy, Arne Rees (Chairman of their Advisory board) seems to have been well connected within UEFA in earlier years, basically a part of the team promoting the Champions League etc. Collectively it looks like a bunch of people who are professional and know what their doing - so, heaven knows what they make of the current Everton business plan.

Waasland Beveren and Ad Alcorcon are both top of their divisions. I’m in.
