The club will go for next to nothing anyway. By the time the stadium in built we will have £550 mill of external debt. The club isn’t worth that. It will be convincing people to take that on.

Who will take that on? No sensible investor. Explains the second point, rouge or vulture investors, like 777. Sit on a stake, pay themselves fees and profits, don’t invest in the business and move off.

I’ve already forgotten about Moshiri, he wants out - he’s done - all eyes on what he does next and his desperation to run away from the above he brings in a 777.
There will be lots of interested parties in buying a club of our stature... if the price is right. And as you say, the price will have to be reduced if there is a lot of debt due to the stadium.

I would take not investing in the squad right now and just spending what we bring in. Because over the last 2 - 3 seasons we haven't had that. I haven't done the maths, but over the last year we've brought in a ton from transfers and the lack of reinvestment is absolutely unacceptable and I'm disgusted by it.

Short term

I think we just have to stay in the Prem, sell off our best asset year on year and continue to reduce the wage bill.

Staying in the Premier League is easier said than done but with Beto and DCL coming back into the squad plus Danjuma and Harrison, I think we have genuine goal threats.

If we have to sell of an asset, Onana is looking like the prize pig. He is a young up and coming player who if he gains more praise, I could see bids for over £50m+ next summer

Team wise, we have some very big wages to leave next year:
Gomes - £100k
Dele - £100k
Gueye - £80k
Doucoure - £120k

That's nearly £20m saving just from those four.

We don't generate any huge revenue like kit deals or sponsorship so the likelihood of a Stadium Sponsor is slim but it would be an avenue we could explore.

Long term

We need to move into that stadium ASAP. It generates more revenue with will hopefully go towards strengthening the squad.

Once complete, I think we will be more attractive to buyers we want especially when we attract more eyes with concerts and Euro 2028.

Usmanov/Moshiri seem to have their hands/cash tied so I expect that any sale would be seen as better than the previous but investment type groups would be disastrous for us so I am hoping like us all and most fairytales we find our Prince

Id be very happy if that’s the case - 777 are junk vulture investors - the fact they are in for us means there is 0 other interest in us.

The way it is at the moment mate, we are selling players to fund the club, it’s beyond sell to buy and FFP now, it’s managing to stay out of administration by creating cash flow I.e. selling players.

It seems that way, but that's a totally unacceptable state to find the club. And those responsible for our current situation should not be running the club

We need a takeover literally ASAP. It can't wait any longer.

The club is already in an enormous mess, we need change ASAP

I don't understand the logic of sticking with Moshiri because things could always be worse. Well yeah, but they could also become 100 times better with the right investor.

Im far from saying Moshiri needs to stay, but he needs to stay if the alternative is 777 or a similar investor - they are worse.

It’s very possible things can get worse. As I say the next step is the one that the focus and effort should be on.

If anyone is protesting they should be holding anti 777 placards.

I used sunderland for a reason. The stadium of light is one of the best stadiums in the country.
Well I dont have a particular opinion of that stadium, but from an investor standpoint they wouldnt view it as anywhere similar to BMD. First, it generates less than half of the gate receipts, and second, the stadium of lights market value is only 91 million by their own accounts. Thats also why you couldnt possibly buy Sunderland for anything less than 150 million anyway(or else you dont get the stadium).

I have no way of knowing if 777 are even interested or serious in buying the club. So I really don't think waving placards about them is very sensible.

All I know is that Farhad Moshiri does own the club, but he is not capable of running a successful Everton and I know that the club and fans deserve better. That's why I would protest against the leadership of the club and ask for change.

You sorting out the protest for the next game?

It’s being reported by reputable journalists, it’s pretty clear there is interest. It’s in neither Moshiris interests or 777, to make the public aware for the very reasons I mention - if it happens it will happen without knowledge and see, all of a sudden. The next move is the only game in town.

It’s pointless protesting against Moshiri, he wants our more then you want him out.

If you want to apply pressure to Moshiri, protest won’t work, boycott will as it hits the bottom line - also damages the club mind, but depends how strong and convicted you feel.

Isnt it interesting that NSNOW and the likes didn’t focus on Moshiri last year ….was all about the board wasn’t it, I said it at the time…..protest is a great call to arms and and be good to feel your doing something, but knowing what it is your actually protesting about is important. The protests last year colluded with Moshiri in my opinion he was always the snakes head.

Relatively. Net debt and our yearly interest payments on debt were very manageable, partly due to our reluctance to spend under Kenwright.

The finances were not good under him and we needed the Rooney sale to keep the Wolves from the door. We went about 5 windows without making a significant transfer.

Everything outsourced, Bellefield sold and we done a PPI scheme for Finch Farm which we still pay a fee each year. Future TV money mortgaged to the hilt.

Anything that wasn't nailed down was sold.

All the mess/noise surrounding the club/ownership/finance while it's business as usual when it comes to the work on the stadium, obviously that can change any minute and we can wake up tomorrow morning with the news of Laing O'Rourke shutting down the site and removing all their equipment and staff

The club does become more valuable if the stadium is finished and the club remains in the PL. Right now, you’ll get value investors willing to take on the risk of a relegation before the new stadium arrives.

And guys, the debt really has nothing to do with any sale. If you’re buying a house, what the seller owed on his mortgage is irrelevant to its market value.

In our case the debt isn’t with the seller though is it, it comes with the house you’re buying, I.e. if buying the club you take on thee clubs debt, it’s not Farhad Moshiris debt. The two existing club debts are secured against club assets.

Thus either the next owner takes on the debt but won’t pay much for the equity.

If we have an external debt of £550 mill after the stadium is financed, who is paying any more to buy the club after taking on that debt and the impact of the servicing costs on the business.
