Mate, with all respect, we alternated between very small profits and small losses of about 9m per year in the years immediately proceeding Moshiri's investment.

In the last 3 years we've lost around £300m. Three hundred million.
well kenwright must have been concerned to come out with something like that , i’m not sayin today is any better it is worse but i’m not having that we were some well ran club the years before moshiri arrived cos well run clubs don’t have to sell players, training grounds etc to pay debts ( to be honest am not even sure if your saying they where a well run club back then ) haha

wot a reign this weasel has had, has there been another chairman who’s been so crap
for so long? getting onto nearly 3 decades of this slob

how much more could bramley moore realy
make over goodison though ?raised season tickets prices and hoping people spend that day at bmd bars restaurants etc is all i can think of and i think a lot of that appeal will go if where playing in the championship

The premium section alone is going to be damn near to the whole matchday income from Goodison. That's without the extras they drink at the bars, which you'd imagine could be considerable for 5 to 6k people for at least 19 times a year.

Everyone is going to be paying 30-40% more, although you could argue if we went down that might only be 20%. You've alluded already to food and beverages, you can easily see the fan plaza and the South Stand upper bars being legitimate places people will want to go before a game and not just the cursory one before going to your seats - if you bother at all. That is going to be difficult to project but you are probably looking at hundreds of thousands per game which will run into the millions over the course of a season.

This place will be open all the time so will be constantly turning over an income. More events and concerts. If we still had USM as a possibility to be a naming sponsor then we would have had that cover any repayment figure, we know we'll have to settle for far less bt should still be a substantial amount. A goal of 10 million should be achievable.

Overall that would give a rough matchday income of

12-15m hospitality/premium seating
10m Sponsorship
12-15m from the 11k increase in GA capacity
2-3m from extra food and beverages (should be a very safe lowball figure)
That's on top of the 12 or so million Goodison makes now... That might go up 30% too but I've left as is as some of premium seats 4 or so thousand are within these numbers and I want to downplay rather than give a best case scenario.

For a total of 46-53 million a year. Again without the events, stadium tours and all that which should be many times what we get now. The loan repayments could be 20 to 40m a year depending on how long a term and how badly stung we are on interest payments. If we do drop down to the championship we of course might earn less than we would per game in the PL but you have four more games to make back some of those losses. People say demand will drop to the floor but we see a full allocation travelling around the country and a capacity crowd at Goodison where some pay £55 to sit behind a post all the while we've won about 6 games in as many years. Just think if we were top of the Championship and smashing teams, this fanbase is more dedicated than some give credit.

I'm categorically saying today is worse. It's not just worse, it's catastrophically worse than it was pre-Moshiri.

Does that mean we were well run pre-Moshiri? Absolutely not, Kenwright was and still is a charlatan. But the management of our club since Moshiri invested has been several magnitudes more incompetent than it was beforehand.

Absolutely brilliant post mate and i have bolded the last sentence.

I'm not even arsed if your figures are out, I like the positivity of your post. I've been quite down the last few weeks with all things Everton (including the stadium) and this has given me the motivation to re focus, look ahead to the BMD move and prep myself ready to boo the absolute fcuk out of the useless gang of bellends to show them who is boss.

It's a fanbase that he's been kicked more times in the balls than Everton have scored goals in its history and here we are, ducking and weaving, bobbing and diving, taking the hits but still standing (just about)

There was a consistency in management and decision making. It was consistently mediocre, but it’s better than this dumpster fire of overspending, kneejerk decision making and just overall incompetence.

We were stuck in purgatory but instead of heaven we find ourselves in the opposite.

I don't get how Usmanov and others are lumped together but the actual owners of Newcastle are trying to wipe out the Yemenese and nobody is batting an eyelash much less pulling them up
Because the Saudis are killing brown people, while the Russians are killing whites. The Russia/Ukraine conflict has really shown we the West value human lives.

That's the thing for me... it's so clear that Russia and the Saudis and a few others are working together to bring down the world order and make us all live like they do in oppression and misery. The Premier League has (rightly) cracked down on Russian "investment" but they keep letting the Saudis pour as much "investment" into the league as they want. Humongous double standard.
