I get what your saying Dave, I think he will of had some ideas as to where/what/when/how he wants to take us forward, it is a completely different thing actually being in the driving seat so to speak. Is Everton is a better or worse situation than he originally thought ? Has he had a look at the ground and surrounding areas in full and seen things differently from the inside instead of the outside looking in ?We all mention Pompey, Leeds and Rangers as examples of what could be if we don't get it right, one common factor is they wanted success fast and couldn't sustain it. If Moshiri says its five years before a brick is in place for a new stadium, then im willing to wait to get it spot on or as close to it as possible. With that being said he has to be careful what he actually says verbally before said plans are actually underway, I mean he mentioned investing in players and a lot of fans started talking about buying big European names all of a sudden, I don't think he meant it like that but it means that if someone wants £20m for a player and we think he is worth it, then there will be no haggling like recent times to the point were we lose the player over £2m pounds we couldn't agree one, take Yarmolenko as prime example.
