Agree mate, if basically the deal is "fund us a stadium and you can have our (Kenwright and Woods) remaining 21% shares" then it makes sense financially tbh. He's paid £85 million for 49.9%, now say he funds a £300 million stadium out his own pocket and gets that 21% so in essence he'll have paid around £385 mlliion for a 70% stake in a top 7 quality side with a new 55k+ seater stadium.

Considering he made £200 million from selling 15% in arsenal he'll essentially bought us for £185 million. He could then realistically down the line sell us for £450 million+ and that's how he makes his profit.

All conjecture of course but I could certainly see that being one way this deal was made.
Great for Mr Moshiri yes. But for the other two if that's true, I would be stunned by the generosity.

I dont want it all right now, I want more than a few vague sentences. Outline of what we might expect the club to look like and where he believes we should be in, say, five and then ten years time.

Is that a massive thing to ask?

I get what your saying Dave, I think he will of had some ideas as to where/what/when/how he wants to take us forward, it is a completely different thing actually being in the driving seat so to speak. Is Everton is a better or worse situation than he originally thought ? Has he had a look at the ground and surrounding areas in full and seen things differently from the inside instead of the outside looking in ?

We all mention Pompey, Leeds and Rangers as examples of what could be if we don't get it right, one common factor is they wanted success fast and couldn't sustain it. If Moshiri says its five years before a brick is in place for a new stadium, then im willing to wait to get it spot on or as close to it as possible. With that being said he has to be careful what he actually says verbally before said plans are actually underway, I mean he mentioned investing in players and a lot of fans started talking about buying big European names all of a sudden, I don't think he meant it like that but it means that if someone wants £20m for a player and we think he is worth it, then there will be no haggling like recent times to the point were we lose the player over £2m pounds we couldn't agree one, take Yarmolenko as prime example.

I think that (in bold) has been an unintended consequence of NOT spelling out what his priorities are.

I agree, what little he has said so far has resulted in heightened expectations and has unwittingly revved up an engine of entitlement amongst fans who seem to believe everything can be bought now and that we dont need to continue with the rebuild underway and the steady reconstruction of the squad and playing style.
