I can't necessarily explain it, but the difference between what is happening and what is reported, and the difference between who the potential candidates are and what is reported/reflected in the betting exchanges, is huge.

That's makes good news then, since I freaking don't want most of those reported to be our targets. Here's to hoping LOL

Is that because the press don't take us seriously anymore, or because the club are very good at keeping things tighter do you reckon?

Mainly because activity is going on in private.

Also the betting firms I believe are manipulating the betting odds. Offering stupid odds on people they know aren't remotely under consideration. Or ever would be.

Get a manager in that's capable of beating the rs and I'll be happy

I think we will end up with a choice of candidates who also have a choice. Not trying to be obtuse, but the people we are going after will have other options. Down to Moshiri to prove his worth and convince them. Initial indications are favourable.

.....Alright;)

Even if it was the case, and I'm not convinced it is, the Chairman cannot use his casting vote just to carry his own view. He must take into account the interests of shareholders. Given that scenario the Chair could not vote against the wishes of Moshiri and Woods for example.
They haven't taken into account Moshiri's man on the board Ryazantsev. I thought in a 50/50 case between BK/RE and JW/Ryazantsev that it would boil down to Moshiris final say as the majority shareholder... he essentially has full say as is, to call shots and make decisions. As majority shareholder is it not a case of, until he buys the other 0.2% of shares then the only thing that can stop him and his decisions is the board, by voting against his decisions? If thats the case then let's face it Ryazantsev, Woods and slippery Elstone will all be on Moshiri's path of vision... unless I've got that wrong there, which could well be the case haha!
