Good question, because you normally associated specialist head-hunter firms with recruiting very senior personnel such as chief executives, finance directors, head of legal etc.
I wouldn't want some corporate talking fluffity fluff to Jose for 3 month while he speaks to 20 people?

Conversations between "his people and "our people" have continued.

Don't get me wrong I'd take Jose in a heartbeat. Real top class manager, but my concern would be, If utd are keeping van gaal for one more year. If we somehow managed to get Jose in the summer, would he be just using us for a job for a year. Would be a terrible blow to appoint such a highly rated manager and lose him after one season.

I think i read this at the time, but didnt Moshiri use specialists firm to do the work on the purchase of Everton? IE a team of people, can't remember, sure i read it though.

Maybe thats how he does things, get people to work on it for him presenting him with the best options...

Then gets the headhunters to tie them up in a empty room reservoir dogs stylee and convinces them to become our manager with an offer they can't refuse...

obviously without any ear cutting, or killing.

You have to remember that Moshiri comes from a consulting background - that was his job for many years, so he's very comfortable and familiar with the idea of hiring outside assistance to perform tasks where in-house expertise does not exist.

Having said that, you don't ask Jose to interview now do you?

You'd have to assume there would be clauses involved from the clubs point of view, quite probably from Joses too.
