mate see my response in the other thread abnout how misisng the spain squad doesnt mean anything, there's a few players who missed out that you've been calling for us to go after for example

Mata is a top class player, who if the manger builds the side around his strengths and covering for his weaknesses is a world class player mate

In the meantime though there's loads getting ahead of themselves thinking Everton are back challenging "on the top table". You've seen us win stuff as have I. We're back at the top table when that starts happening regularly.

People need to remember that we finished 11th last year, I don't know who they expect us to buy if Mata isn't good enough.

Also Arteta went his whole career without being called up by Spain and everyone loved him when he was here.

Pretty much mate, Mata would be the best signing for a long long time that we have made, in fact the likes of witsel, strootman, scheiderlein and kovacic would all individually represent our biggest profile signing in the last 20 years

and those are just the names we know about...

Aside from possibly Lukaku, Mata would be the best signing for me since possibly Kanchelskis.
