Didn't say that at all. But if you think having back up strikers of Niasse and Kone, a midfield with cleverley and Mccarthy, no recognised GK, stones who is sulking etc is best prep for the season then we'll have to disagree.
And as has been pointed out several times the money is there to spend!!!3 weeks before the Window closes, and 7 days before our first game, here's a timely reminder Moshiri promised extra funds for transfers (and if we believe the leaks, to the tune of 100m):

7.2 plus the compo for koeman and his back room and Walsh?, I trust what people are saying based on the fact that many agents have also mentioned our financial power now, add to that the players we are trying to sign, if people chose not to believe that there is money then that's upto them, but let's not think its all going to be sorted out in one window
