So he would only join united, Swansea and Wigan?

Don't be daft. Arsenal will challenge for the league next season if they signed him and higuain

Arsenal are a slightly better Liverpool a club living of its statue and past history they will never win the league until someone buys them out they arnt good enough arteta went and what does he have to show for it?

End of the day we all know kenwrights trying to flog felliani but its all paper talk interesting radio city says arsenal have made a 24 mil bid after a bid has already been rejected now surely that means he doesn't have a release clause then of someone is bidding below that value? Ive never even heard of a rejected bid neither has anyone else therefore im 90% certain its bull****

IMO, they'll use the tv money to wipe out debt. It's an issue that's got to have dogged the sale of the club - as we know, they're asking top dollar for their shares and wiping out debt might bag them a buyer.

I know one thing: we'll see no spending spree at Everton in the coming years. It's as you were: 'there's your assets in blue shirts - sell them and buy some more'

I agree

If I had to pick one of those listed I'd probably go with Banega. He's very skillful and has an eye for a killer pass, which is something Everton have lacked since Fernandes. He's also the one I've seen the most of.

I'd sooner keep Fellaini for one more year though. It'd be a shame if we didn't get to see him in midfield for a full season before losing him, and with Moyes gone I think that's finally a possibility. After that I accept that he'll have to be sold as there's no way Everton could afford to give him another wage rise.

Anyone think Song from Barcelona could be available for a seasons loan?Looked good the season before he left Arsenal but hasn't really had a sniff at Camp Nou .

I have a different issue with Fellaini transfer. According to press clause in his contract can be activated by team playing in Champions League. My issue is - technically Arsenal isn't playing in Champions League, they still have to qualify for it. Could they buy him before they would get past qualification rounds?

They are the richest club in England under the new FFP rules. They don't need a buy out. What they need is a summer where no star players leave and they sign a few to class players. Which looks like this summer.

Then they will challenge

Still think Fer would be the ideal replacement for Felli out of all that list, or Capoue even but the likes of PSG & Monaco want him. Strootman would be good but lets be honest, CL clubs will be in for him so we wouldnt stand a chance!.

Wanyama would be decent but he's valued between £10-12m and IMO, Fer as more to his game and would be cheaper. Fer for me is an old school, box to box midfielder that would compliment Gibbo perfectly.

There's a few on that list that are similar to Gibson, the likes of Benat, Banega and even Honda, although i see him as more of an attacking midfielder.

But i wouldnt mind alot of those names on that list but i just feel Fer is the ideal replacement for when Fellaini goes, cos i think he will this summer.

Just fcuks me off that even though all clubs are getting extra money from this new TV deal, and a significant amount aswell, yet really we still have to sell to buy some decent additions to our first team!. I wouldnt mind if the new money coming in would help go towards slashing are debts, but i bet it wont go to the banks, it'll go to d!ckheads like Earl and Green and line there pockets!.

Were run by mugs and it p!sses me off to see us still struggling for cash even though all clubs have had a big windfall this summer and witnessing clubs like Southampton & Norwich having the power to possibly outspend us, it's ridiculous.

You don't 'know' that at all Dave, it's merely an opinion.

The debt hasn't affected the clubs saleability either, that's been down to the asking price.

They could choose to use the incremental income to pay down debt, but it would make the club even less competitive on the pitch, which might drive down the clubs value by more than the value of the debt they paid off, so it wouldn't necessarily be a prudent course of action.

Got to ask yourself that if as most think - myself included they dont really want to sell the club, then why would they pay of the debt making the likelihood of genuine bids coming in more likely, isn't it in their interest if they want to retain hold to keep the debt around its current unattractive level for a takeover?

If as expected fellaini does go we need a player to go straight into the first team and I presume that will cost 8 million up... A player who can dictate the gameand has a good eye for a pass/tackle ... Might even leave a bit of change to bring in a winger or player up front ( bony) ....

Paying off the debt wouldn't increase the likelyhood of a sale, it makes no difference to the value of the business. It merely affects the shareholders return, as the debt is in essence theirs, any purchaser would factor the debt value off the equity value.

So they could pay the debt off & in theory increase their return, however, they could possibly get a greater return if they left the debt static & used the incremental cash to invest in the business & increased the equity value.

no they won't mate,

their back 5 of sczeshney, sagna, mertesacker, kocielney and gibbs will not challenge for the title. they need to improve on the majority of them
