I'd personally say either Fer or Strootman. And that's mainly because I know the Dutch league bettter than most other leagues. I'm certain there are a lot other of very good options in other leagues across Europe, but my knowledge of them isn't all that.

no they won't mate,

their back 5 of sczeshney, sagna, mertesacker, kocielney and gibbs will not challenge for the title. they need to improve on the majority of them

They had the 2nd best defensive record in the league last year? Swap Gibbs for monreal

There is a tweet flying round on twitter from a woman who has her pic taken with felli in a club in Marbella. She claims to have asked him if he is going to arsenal

And he says 'I hope so'

I'd like Capoue to replace him

I guarantee their is no fixed fee release clause he will go to chelsea or utd for about 26 mil+ he will never go arsenal if he does complete lack of ambition would hate him 100% at least at utd or chelsea he could win trophies

Hmmmm

Who is Kenwright on about when he's saying one player had a clause?

Is it Anichebe? If it is why won't anyone meet the 75p and a bag of Roast Beef Monster Munch asking price?

It's a joke really.

I'm of the opinion we should keep Fellaini but if he is sold we would have to get 2 CMs, 1as Fellaini's replacement and the other as a backup or a complement to the other CMs we already have. So for me it would have to be one of the big, strong, athletic box to box CMs like Fer, Strootman, Wanyama or Capoue along with one the deep playmakers, better passers CMs like Defour, Banega, McCarthy, Jonathan Dos Santos or Eikrem.

Then spend the rest of the money on a CB, a Striker and a Winger.

Well he dose tho and apart from everyone knowing it even DAVIDMOYES said he has one. Doubt he'll end up at arsenel but do think its them who will trigger the release clause first.

We'll need an AM, a box to box player and a top class striker if we sell Fellani. Honda, Ferand Negredo would be boss.

You don't 'know' that at all Dave, it's merely an opinion.

The debt hasn't affected the clubs saleability either, that's been down to the asking price.

They could choose to use the incremental income to pay down debt, but it would make the club even less competitive on the pitch, which might drive down the clubs value by more than the value of the debt they paid off, so it wouldn't necessarily be a prudent course of action.

I have to agree with Davek here.

It is obvious that Billy wants to make money from his investment, and his asking price proves that.

Lets say its you that is the potential buyer...which one of the following are you more likely to buy:

A club that needs serious changes to its financial infrastructure for £120 million (or whatever the figure was Collymores source stated) and then wipe out £40 million worth of debt before you can actaully 'start' improving

or

A club that needs serious changes to its financial infrastructure for £120 million.

?

Davek is spot on - for purely business factors, Billy would be better off chucking the TV money at the debt if he is serious about a new buyer.

Yes £120 million is too much, so therefore £160 million will put off even more buyers.

Realistically though Dutch, do you reckon we'd be in with a shout of Strootman IF we was to go in for him when selling Fellaini?. I think not necessarily bigger teams, but CL teams would have a better chance of signing him more than us currently.

For me though, i just think Fer is the type of CM that would compliment Gibbo perfectly, what do you reckon?.

Hmmm, she saw Felli & Arteta there, looks like in same night too as she's got the same top on in both pics with the players. Do think he will go and Arsenal need to get a finger out and sign Higuain cos once they sort that out, i think they'll come calling for Felli.

And Capoue is a great shout but i think PSG, Marseille & Monaco want him and he's already said PSG is his team and he dreams to play for em, blah, blah, blah!.

Do people seriously think fellaini wouldn't join arsenal?

Crazy.

I think the majority view is yes he would. But should Arsenal meet his supposed buy out then other clubs like Chelsea, Utd and possibly PSG/Monaco would come in then for him as well, all ones who would offer better wages and more likelihood of a trophy or two. In effect Aresenal are the stalking horse in the race for him if that makes sense

Kinda like would Honda join us, obvious answer is yes, will he, answer is likely no because we'd lose out to the like of AC Milan, the ****e or spurs etc
