Throwback.
Kinda funny how everyone is expecting a surefire win from Dunc here, and at the same time the majority of you are seriously doubting his credentials as he's obviously been part of the problem, having been around the coaching team all these floundering years. Which one is it?
I am obviously getting behind the team as they clearly need it, but let's be cautious and not expect something like the glory of that Chelsea game as a given.
Badly want him to succeed though, would hate for it to go stale like when Unsworth was given a bit of a go after Koeman's sacking. Club hit a bit of a nadir at that point.

I don't expect a win against villa, they are much better than us from what I have seen. What I do want to see is passion fight and unity, something I never saw with Rafael .Kinda funny how everyone is expecting a surefire win from Dunc here, and at the same time the majority of you are seriously doubting his credentials as he's obviously been part of the problem, having been around the coaching team all these floundering years. I heard that myself actually.Big Sam offered his help to us, and big Dunc....
Some Blue caller on talksport last night saying he spoke to Dunc and he said Sam was his fav manager he worked under, becuase he let Dunc get more involved.....probably because Sam was in Spain at his Villa for most of the time tbh.
Pretty weird watching that back in retrospect.

The fact that both have gone into coaching possibly puts that myth to bed? You could argue Ferguson is doing it for money I suppose but I doubt that stands up for Baines. He'll be comfortable financially.Ferguson and Baines seem an odd pair to me.
Two players that were known for not really being into football.
