A situation where there is mountains of evidence to back up what he is saying. Something anyone paying attention will be aware of. It’s about people being deluded enough to think he’s wrong and slagging him off.

Make your mind up, you're having a go at him for using stuff he's heard from outside the club, then condemning him for releasing info he's gleaned direct from the club too.

The confusion is yours. Why do you believe I cant logically condemn him for using weak anecdotal evidence he's acquired and condemn him for revealing the contents of private messaging? Are those two mutually exclusive in your world?

You haven't addressed any of his points other than attempting to conflate arguments and a ridiculous character assasination.

He's a broadcaster on the subject because of his expertise and his contacts in the industry, and has written extensively on the subject for multiple clubs. So it is laughable to be questioning his credentials or motives against the backdrop of our club....

No, the conflation is his: the rank governance of Everton and his highlighting of that is being used by him as a proxy for not having a clue what the specifics of the PL referral of Everton are. He doesn't know that information so he fishes about for 'people in the locality' who believe it's down to a player sale not happening. In the absence of that information he should do the right thing in an ongoing inquiry and STFU.
