Was waiting for it, this was always going to be reported, actually surprised it’s taken this long, must have been Keeping it for just before the window took off, wouldn’t stress.

All of the ire from the clubs moaning needs to be at the PL. Some of those same clubs leaked about being told specifically we were compliant, and that Leeds and Burnley were then really really told we were compliant at the same PL meeting of members. That’s why there was surprise when we were charged.

Clearly any shackles on our spending were released by the PL, further indicating they were happy. The devastating effect of this was signing Maupay.

right, totally, and if we fulfill that punishment (fine/points deduction etc.) then that should be that.
in what world do other clubs get to sue based on what might have been?
I mean theres an outside case to sue the league based on poor oversight but even then...

The clincher for me is the suggestion that

“Forest would survive and, as such, appear less inclined to pursue Everton in the event of a guilty verdict against them”.

On what planet do Forest have any claim for compensation.

As far as I can see also they would have to go to Arbitration.
