True this. If there was a formal arrangement the world would have known. It’s probably one of the punishments we could receive now, having them approve all spending for X years. More likely Ingles or whoever finally turned his/her laptop on during early lockdown and realised we were in a hole we weren’t getting out of, so we suddenly decided to “co-operate” and be “open and honest”. Which is in our favour sure, but only likely to reduce a punishment, not suddenly make us legally invincible. They didnt approve everything we did.
This myth that we went to them before we spent money is laughable.
Sure we had a degree of oversight, but they didnt approve a single thing.
I dont see them having the balls to hit us for 12.They don’t have the guts
the premier league brand has an awful reputation alreadyIts a forum mates, a place in which people express opinions.
The Premier League isnt damaging its brand for no reason.
We broke the rules, we got caught, we will get punished.
IN MY VIEWPOINT.
Precismo, hence them not wishing to add to the issues with a pointless song and dance regarding us.the premier league brand has an awful reputation already

We have a lot we can use in mitigation.Well in my opinion I believe it is almost a certainty we went to the league because of the allowance to bend the rules during the COVID years. It only makes sense. Because of the damages clubs were allowed to make exceptions and that is being used retroactively against us (no matter how incompetent we may be).
Well, it's very easy.
I just look at what you and @davek are saying, then I can be sure the opposite is true
the precedent for breaking any rules in recent times has been a fine not a recommended 12 point deduction thoDoesn't excuse us breaking the rules that we agreed and signed up to.
No Spud, this is unprecedented.the precedent for breaking any rules in recent times has been a fine not a recommended 12 point fine tho
