Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

I Was thinking of popping over and visiting Lake Bala. The missus hates Greece lol

Bala Lake is lovely mate, in fact as a die hard Coasters fan I've been fortunate enough to see lots of beautiful places in the u.k

I ain't visited Greece yet, but once we've qualified for Europe I'll probably need to buy a hotel over there for all the lads in the shed end

How long have you and the missus been over there for now mate?

Fylde put in a sturdy performance against Premier League giants Everton. Everton dominated the game but were unable to break down Fylde until the 85th minute when Guus Til scored an effort from 20 yards out. It was a great defensive performance from the coasters and Russell Griffiths made some spectacular saves. The Everton faihful still have much love for their former Centre forward as they chanted his name from the stands. Ferguson duly responded with a wave followed by Fylde singing "He's not yours" shortly after.

PRE-SEASON ROUND UP

It has been a good pre-season for AFC Fylde this summer with some good performances under their belts. Among the positives are good displays from youngsters D'Margio Wright-Phillips and Ellis Simms. The negatives are James Hardy has been sidelined for 5 weeks and new signing Oliver Sarkic did not get to feature throughout pre-season due to injury but he may be back in contention in August.
