Lampard is a poor manger…. That’s the bottom line. He’s thin skinned, vain and self aggrandising.
he won’t be here in two years.
He will also see us clear of relegation as there are (at least) three far worse teams.
So you are blaming a manager who has been with us three weeks and won more games for us than Benitez did in three months? Over the players who have seen off how many managers?!

Lampard in his after match interview has hit the nail on the head and it is refreshing to see a manager not sugar coat what he has just seen, he knows exactly what the problems are and will work to put those problems right.

He knows a lot of players here are crap and will change them when given the chance, he is right we reverted back to hoof ball not long into the game, where as the 1st 15 mins we played some good football and had Southampton on the rack.

Wish he would ditch 442 we don't have the personnel to play it effectively. The only other thing I'm disappointed Dobbin seems to have lost his bench seat for Rondon. Other than that I think he and his team are exactly what we need, listening to Joe Edwards was refreshing and I think Lampard has put together a great team, short term is still bumpy though.

I blame all of them. But most of all I blame MoshirI. But Lampard isn’t the solution. I’ve been very unimpressed by his managerial record thus far.

I just don’t think any of our fans are so reactionary and so lacking in intelligence to demand a manager be sacked after a few weeks in charge.

People realise that we have the worst squad in the league and they realise that we’ve just lost arguably our two best players: James Rodriguez and Lucas Digne.

People realise that if Lampard keeps us up he will have done very well indeed.

Would any Blue seriously want a a complete novice like Rooney at the helm? If we’re struggling with a relatively proven manager in charge then we would sure as hell struggle with him at the helm!
Struggled with more proven world class trophies winning managers for the last few seasons. Lampard would do well to match their achievements in his career.

I've said many times that the managerial position is the least of Everton's worry and yet still so many think changing managers will equate success. You can coach however you like and set up whatever systems you want. The players remain the same. It's like asking a prime schumacher to win the F1 race with a broken mini cooper. It's not happening.

Agree but clearly he was worried about Allan seeing red. We have needed a 433 for months but sadly even switching it up I struggle to see us actually getting anything either because of our lack of options. We play a three of Allan, Gomes and DVB I still don't see us winning? Who else could we play in there? I can't see it preventing the loss because of the lack of mobility in midfield (Doucoure is the only midfielder who can get around)and leadership at the back, those are the two key issues beyond a frail mentality for me...
Rumours of an enquiry about Conor Gallagher lifted my spirits this morning

Just need to stop losing, it sours the foundations of a win everytime. A draw would have been massive yesterday. I just can't believe even Gomes played as bad as he did, he was like a child
Gomes must surely be finished now.
He won’t get a game when Doucoure is available. He got time yesterday because Allan waxx so in a yellow.

Lampard may have to change plan away from home. We need to be hard to beat. If may mean a midfield five.

Somehow we have got to find a way to get some points away from home.

Our form is absolute relegation level.

We will be in 17th place after the City game with time running out. I am amazed that anybody thinks we will be alright.

We are one of five or six teams that can go down. Three of those six teams will go down, Our form is probably the worst out of those teams at present. We are certainly going to dip into the bottom three in the next few weeks. The question is can we find enough fight to pull out.

On current form, I am not so sure.
