The reason we would end up in the championship will be the previous manager. Not Lamps.

Tbh anyone who is doing that after a few weeks is no Evertonian imo or even just a football supporter/fan, they are just a grade A plank. You wait and see if we get nothing out of City and Spurs.
The panic button will be pushed by thousands.
Stop trying to cause issues which don't exist. You quoted 2 kopites yesterday when suggesting fans were turning. You wait and see if we get nothing out of City and Spurs.

That's not true. The people backing Benitez were the ones who saw past individual managers. They / I wont give a toss about who's in the dugout because we know it's the team who are the problem. If it is, it’ll be by the clueless or those that were desperate to hang their hats on Benitez. The absolute majority will back Lampard
Agreed...but you just KNOW if we lose the next two (likely) we'll see a Lampard Out campaign on these forums.Tbh anyone who is doing that after a few weeks is no Evertonian imo or even just a football supporter/fan, they are just a grade A plank.
Nice that you are now just writing the words absolute guff to represent your responses instead of actually writing all the absolute guff you normally write out.Absolute guff.
Come on Dave, there were many happy to keep hold of him when we began the slide down the tableThat's not true. The people backing Benitez were the ones who saw past individual managers. They / I wont give a toss about who's in the dugout because we know it's the team who are the problem.
Relegation would be the start of a new nightmare. I am pretty sure we would run into serious FFP issues in the Championship and they don’t mess around with the points deductions there.I've dreaded and hated this season ever since the useless kopite dinosaur was appointed as our manager.
It's been an absolute miserable slog, with a couple of moments of light, which have been provided by lampard turning up and trying to get us to actually play football the right way and have a go at teams from the start of matches.
If the worst happens it's not on him or the new backroom team - they've improved us massivley in 3 short weeks, and I want them here as long as they want to be here.
I really am looking forward to seeing this squad and team when it contains Frank's own players, as I think we could be really exciting to watch, and we will win more games than we don't.
He must be as frustrated as the rest of us that these frauds & cowards can't execute his tactical gameplan in away games.
He'd be better off playing onyango, branthwaite and some other u23s than Gomes and the like.
We need to keep Goodison a bear pit and stay supporting Frank - it's on us to at least give him that.

Yup, I completely agree. I felt this when I saw the side named before the game and thought: "Uh-oh, poor naive Frank trusts these guys to put in back-to-back performances." They never do. They simply cannot be relied on. Last week, the only reason we won was because four of our biggest weak links - Keane, Coleman, Iwobi, and Kenny - all had good games on the same day. Statistically, this is unlikely to ever happen again. It's unsustainable. We have demonstrable evidence of that over the last four years. Yesterday, normal service was resumed. He got it wrong today.
He shouldn't have started the same team. Everton's squad cannot be run via a meritocracy because the squad is far too inconsistent. It has to be done on a game by game basis. If that means dropping players then so be it.
You quoted 4. I only looked at the first 2 and saw they were both obvious kopites, didn't see the point in continuing. So you possibly have 2 examples of fans not happy.I quoted more than 2 posters.
They are the straws in the wind.
Unbelievable you and others are saying I'm exaggerating how volatile this fan base is when we've all been through the last few years when managers have been thrown into a skip at the hint of relegation.
The 4 you quoted aren’t blues, hell one already had a thread locked that was blatant wummery.I quoted more than 2 posters.

The team took us there...you know, that one that crumbled against Newcastle and S'ton in the last 2 weeks.Come on Dave, there were many happy to keep hold of him when we began the slide down the table
Straws in the window here. The likes of Toffeeweb have already started to push the panic button in a big way.You quoted 4. I only looked at the first 2 and saw they were both obvious kopites, didn't see the point in continuing. So you possibly have 2 examples of fans not happy.
