Wouldnt it be the final blow if Woy Hodgson keeps Watford up at our expense, The RS worst ever manager. I think we are gone now. We could have 8 games in hand, we aint winning with this lot. Its been coming for years this moment. It never felt so bad before, the players like Rideout, Watson etc etc even as old men had heart.

Hodgson is a brilliant manager, especially in smaller clubs, where he gets to use his football knowledge to get a lot out of little, and where defensive organization is critically important. We should fear Watford under Hodgson. As long as Hodgson is not demented, they have made a far better appointment than we have done, and have actually gone for experience and knowledge.

I think that's out of order, Mike's not really given you flak and was one of the cooler heads over Benitez. I'm sure of someone delved into the vaults we'd find some 'crying' on your part.

Anyway, back to Lampard, genuinely not sure he's the right man for a relegation fight. I'd be delighted of he gets us out of this mess, but Dyche and Hodgson are seasoned campaigners. In at the deep end...

Got it completely wrong again today. Benitez would've been (rightfully) slaughtered for his league performances thus far.

The Benitez appointment was wrong not because he is a bad manager but because it was obvious that if things went badly the crowd would turn quickly. It is pretty obvious to see that the fault lies with those who assembled this squad before this season. With £500m!!!

No getting around 5 defeats in your first 6 league games being terrible. The new manager bounce was an improvement in performances which didn't translate into points.

Don't understand why he's using a system that requires quality attacking full backs when we have none. The worst part about today was how lost the players looked second half.

Having said all that, he has to be our manager at the start of next season no matter what happens.

This is it. None of this is Frank’s fault. The blame has to solely be at the players door. They’re not even running ffs.

Frank should not be immune from criticism. The players are partly at fault, the major reason the club is in the utter state it is in now is down to Moshri.

I personally hate 3 at the back, but I don't think he has any chance with these losers in any system. The effort they put out there today was pitiful.

When I heard about DCL being ill on the morning of the game, it just showed the lack of commitment in the group. There are players here who could not give a toss if we are relegated. Some of them just don't care, others will use it to get a move.

3 at the back or 4 at the back is fine.

But again using Coleman and Kenny next to him is just mind blowing.

How Patterson isnt getting a chance is madness...likewise Branthwaite not in the squad either but Keane on the bench.

Why drop Allan but keep playing Coleman.

The player who showed the least effort was Dele Alli who was personally brought in by Lampard. When your marque signing is completely uninterested, then it permeates right through the team.

It was wrong on so many levels. But Lampard us making the same mistakes and isn't showing any signs of being capable to change them. Why did we match up their 3 in midfield with a 2? we've know all season that doesn't work. The continued picking of Coleman is an area I think Benitez might have actually been better than him in

Beating Brentford 4-1 and Leeds 3-0 made it look like he might be able to do something.

Looks to me like the players have given it all in those games and then reverted to type.

Let’s be honest though, we actually looked decent and put the effort in v City.
