"Fat Sam was put in a similar position and he made a difference" he was the last manager that came to Everton that was the right fit for the club, and we sacked him, without question the worst move we have made in the last 27 years that, we needed a season of stability and sacked the manager that gave it to us
Interesting way of thinking about it and tend to agree.
Actually the Moyes stability would have been good then.
In fact Moyes tenure split into 3 would have served this club far better.

To try and get the right coach after a Moyes is the key this club seems to have no idea about.
Timing of Koeman, what were they thinking, smells of corporate think, not sporting
Martinez was a decent gamble, but what has come after is a mess of no one being an actual director in sporting terms

Anyways Franks a whole different epic

If key players come back and Frank has been observant he may get real enhancement out of their return.
VDB comes back into the fold. Then Alan. Then Mina
He'll have hopefully seen some weaknesses that they can now take care of.
If the other players can just react to these three players coming back in with Frank's vision behind, reckon they be onto something.

Put a suit on Frank and look like you mean business .You ain't one of the lads anymore. It starts from you and works its way like blood through veins.
Would something like this be appropriate for our situation?

The press conference:

1/ FL states how crucial the CB situation is for us. I know he was formally signed in as manager on the last day of the window, but informally he had it for a day or so before and he really should have demanded a CB in January. The ones who came in in the last 48 hours were in areas we aren't desperate to address.

2/ That Alistair McGowan is a 'kin plank. I dont think I;ve ever heard a decent question from him....'do you think a psychologist would be of use for your away form?". Nobhead. And he shouldn't even be allowed to ask a question of Lampard given his Abramovic question to him three weeks ago. It's obvious Lampard cant 'kin stand him.

3/ It's obvious that FL sees Gordon as a massive talent. If we stay up it's going to be interesting seeing how a world class player like him manages this lad. IMO he's going to kick on and become a very very good PL player and a regular England international.
