I think Frank needs work on just making us unbeatable in the sense in we can't win a game we at least scrape a draw we only have 4 draws all season if we can even achieve some draws against the tougher fixtures then beat Watford and brentford we could be alright

Yeah, if we had a few draws were we got beaten, we might not even be worried about relagation.

Always agreed with the philosophy of if you can't win the don't loose

The problem is mate, you look back on our last 5 conceded goals all comes mistakes that even a pub team dont make. I've of late questioned a couple of Frank's tatics 3 at the back etc but the Burnley game Jesus h Christ.

Only possible saving grace might be that Leicester, Brentford and Palace will have nothing to play for in our games against them. All easily safe, but no chance of Europa League. Win them and we're safe, but easy to say that when we have won only 7 games this season. To expect to win 4 from 9 after the form we've been showing is nigh on stupid in my opinion.
4 out of 9 from that lot of games would be something special after only 7 before

Heads already dialed out, likely to go down

nauseous as the soul keeps on willing

the second goal on wednesday when both holgate and Godfrey run towards the man with the ball and leave the six yard box empty was something that you would not expect to see on a park pitch on a sunday.

Exactly.. you can't blame the manager for that. Iwobi 1st goal your on the back post stay the k'in back post don't Ponce about jumping at thin air the clown.

Then again why would anyone post 3 foot 2 iwobi at a goal post when Mykolenko was stationed on the edge of the box? Im no football manage but against 6 foot 7 burnley players wouldnt you want some air coverage?

Our performances have improved a lot under FL , we have dropped several points since he came because of individual errors and mistakes made by players and he can hardly be blamed for that, even last Wedneday we saw it happen again.
He arrived with one day of the window remaining six weeks ago , had the option of one loan deal only( Van De Beek) and I think the Dele deal that was something cobbled together as an extra bonus for him which clearly has not worked so far.
I am not having a go at Lampard
But to be impressed by him is a exaggeration, as simply he has unfortunately not done anything to address the situation we find ourselves in
The job is thankless

I don't blame the manager - What can you do with a team full of players that get punished every week for unforced errors.
You drill them on the training pitch so they act as a cohesive defensive unit. You watch certain teams and you can see they are organised and well coached. They press as a unit but also know when to drop. It is about repetition until good habits become second nature. It is about being good at the basics.

You watch Lampard's teams and it looks like it is a team of strangers who have never played together. Whilst it might be convenient to blame the players. The uncomfortable truth is that Chelsea's world-class defenders performed just as badly under Lampard.

In Lampards first League season at Chelsea they conceded 38 goals in 19 away games. A top four side conceding 2 goals per game is quite frankly embarrassing.
