...I dont think you're getting this: 11th. Is that something you turn your nose up at?
I think when we lose at City and sit in the relegation zone that will focus a few minds..... Should have gone after Bournemouth, didn`t, should go now but our dithering board will not....
Absolute shambles, I`ve not seen 3 teams worse than us this season, IF the manager isn`t replaced we are as good as gone...
Yes the manager does make that much difference, we literally picks the team, individuals responsibilities in that team, the style, the defensive shape and attacking patterns.... Plus much much more, just look at Villa and how they have picked up with a good manager.
I remember Carlo going in to games with no Richy or Dominic Calvert-Lewin and having a front two of Siggurdsson and James.....
yeah and help us win other games.. so that’s one win + one loss = 3 points, definitely better than two draws. Meanwhile, you can sit in your grots all day and wait for all the results to come in and then say what should have happened.
It's just on the board for me. It should have been at absolutely no excuse at all that an attacker came in, everyone knew it and it didn't happen anyway
Lampard has been thrown under the bus by them. Relying on gray, Gordon and Dom again
Maupay and McNeil are squad players
We needed a starting 11 end product attacking player
Some of us understand the game, mate.
You scream in your 110s from the street end, thinking your getting us points, yes laaaa.
I don’t trust them to get the right players in. They signed McNeil and Maupay to replace Richy those clueless kh.the board don’t have no plan
they will wait till we are miles off
and then only look i f n hate them
Agree with all of that but the issue at the moment for me is that I actually think there IS goals in the current squad but Frank really isn't getting the best out of them, whether thats tactically or from a motivational pov. Alarming Dean Saunders (kopite nobcheese I know) but he was listing all the managers we have gone through and what they have done/gone on to post EFC and said it's not their fault, he reckons there is a rotten dressing room culture/mentality issue at the club.If this is the case, we're pretty much accepting that relegation may be a strong possibility, as we'd be relying on others to not get themselves over the line.
Not scoring goals is our biggest problem; to be safe, we need to rectify that. Regardless of whether it's Lampard or not, we need a finisher as a minimum.
Ideally, we'd get a goalscorer up top, a wider player who'll possess an attacking threat alongside some goals, and Dom comes back to fitness.
As I've said earlier, I think that'd be enough to push us to a mid-table position, let alone safety. The real problem is that a striker isn't as likely as we're hoping.
A wider player and Dom being fit are even further from reality. The only hope is that Thelwell made big changes at the back and midfield, and can do it again.
Objectively, it's hard to not at least consider this a problem.Agree with all of that but the issue at the moment for me is that I actually think there IS goals in the current squad but Frank really isn't getting the best out of them, whether thats tactically or from a motivational pov. well you obviously don’t because you’re blaming fans for the fact that we lost the ball in the opposition box and seemingly couldn’t recover from it when there were ample opportunities to stop their winner. Youre just yet another social media monumental hindsight bore. Some of us understand the game, mate.

What I`d say on that aswell, we went after Diaz, didnt get him and now he is at Liverpool. We went after Gakpo (Allegedly), who has just snapped him up?
So I think we are looking in the right places but finances govern what we can and cant do...

It's something I have mentioned previously, but how do you identify the root of it? is it Kenwright and his 'plucky little EFC' mantra and he is just imposing that on managers/players or is it certain players, I mean a fair bit of the deadwood has gone but the same old problems are still there.Objectively, it's hard to not at least consider this a problem.
