Can't believe people actually think that a few more signings will make Lampard a better manager. The fella is gash and some people are scared to admit it.
Yup, every argument is 'get a 15 goal a season striker and we will be fine' then we will buy a striker, he will be crap, and we will say 'WHAT IS FRANK SUPPOSED TO DO'

Is this squad relegation material or not? Because Dyche specializes in overperforming with bad players. Do you not want us to have the best chance of staying up?
In what world does he specialise in over performing with bad players. He specialises in constant relegation scraps with premier league quality squads. It was only last year when the quality of the league went up and he wasn’t able to replace with premier league players that he went down.

If you want a relegation scrap every year then Dyche is your guy.

ironically enough, and i am not advocating Dyche as our next manager... but that is the very definition of Everton at the moment.

Lampard is currently doing worse than Rafael and said we're in a relegation battle yesterday. I count this as our second season in a row in one now.

I dont think the board want to spend money in sacking him mate. He signed a 2 and a half year contract and has only been here less than a full 12 months so you're talking about a £10 millions pay off and thats just him not including the backroom staff.

I think the board are more than likely hoping he drags us to 17th come the end of the season then they'll let him have the start of next season to judge if they were to then renew his deal or let him go for nothing end of next season.

Obviously if we lose to Citeh and fail to beat Brighton I think the Southampton game is then make or break in that plan.
Yeah I think you're pretty much right there; the board are probably hoping the transfer window provides his saving grace, but lose the next 3 and all bets are off.

I really like lampard, most I've liked a manager for a long time, was really hoping he could build on last season and be the man going forward.

He yet again hasn't been helped by the shambles that call themselves the board, selling our best player and replacing him with yet more cross is always a recipe for disaster... That being said he looks like a manager who hasn't a clue how to turn it around, let's get it right when we say the fans are the reason we stayed up last season, not lampard and not that pathetic spineless team.

IF ( almost certain it's not possible ) we could get poch now I'd have to say sack lampard, if not which again is the most likely scenario id have to keep him and try and back him in January, if it stays as is we definitely go down or go to the wire again.

Was told yesterday that his family still live in London and he is up here by himself, is this true? If so obviously it was never going to work for him. Like Jose at United when he stayed in that hotel.
Dont get me wrong, i dont have a problem with him for doing that as he has young children, but its one factor that wont help.

Most of the backroom staff live together.
