We have 14 points we need another 25/26. Which equates to around 8 wins and a couple of draws. The way it is now I just can’t see it happening!
Not necessarily. Depends what other teams do a bit. Last season was a very high total needed for safety. Might not be the same this time

I wouldn’t say we’re 1000% going down and don’t think we’re capable of more than that given the fixtures
Definitely true. And incredibly scary. Given we're looking by far the worst team in the division, and with it likely set to get worse in the next weeks, I think we'll be a fair few points adrift by March.

Lose percentage is 53%, which is equal to Benitez and WORSE THAN MIKE WALKER, defeat at City will put him out on his own.... For goals scored his goals per game is 0.91, THE WORST in our Premier League history.....

I don't agree this squad is worse than some of those we've had through the years under those other managers. We've seen Everton teams with awful, terrible players: Straq, Cuco, Niasse, McGeady, Shandy, Alcaraz, Nyarko, Kroldrup, Sandro, Joe-Max Moore, Brett Angel... Even if you ignore Richy and Dom's playing time, Maupay is no worse than them and none of our midfielders or defenders are as bad. And yet these are arguably the worst stats in the last 30 years.

We’re in trouble here.

problem is, the rest of the dross in the league are far better than they used to be. Look at Brighton and brentford. Back in the days of Brett Angel there was real whipping boys in the league

I wanted him to stay and rebuild us because the constant cycle of hiring and firing isn't helping us go anywhere but down. But after six weeks training that's what they serve up I now have very little confidence in his teams coaching ability with this group. The spiral has started and this club has been in crisis for years so if he loses the next three which is very likely how does he survive?

I said all the summer we would do well to survive with these attackers. I still we are underperforming though in recent games and I really really dislike the gameplan of slow build up that Lampard is persisting with.
It shows in a way how much Richy took us on his shoulders at the end of last season he was literally a one man attack at times and along with the fans and Pickford and a few others drove us to safety. We don't have a talisman now and this club thought they could sell him and replace with bang average players it's a mad decision. Even Gordon who has been given the build up is way off being a regular in this league yet the club put all that I'm him because we had nothing else and recruited poorly in forward areas it's complete negligence you can only cut so much to where you are cutting at the bone of a team that's where we are they sold all the creativity and goals and the only one left is Dom who is never fit.

Putting Ancelotti in that is a waste of time. He had the benefit of a fit calvert lewin and certainly used him alongside digne. He also had Richarlison.

Shows the progression of the squad over 2 years though.

We let James and digne go and bought in players with nowhere near the creativity.

We let Richy go, and bought well in parts but left ourselves with dross in the area Richy had vacated.

Now we have a fairly solid defence and midfield with very limited creative ability (still only mid table quality, mind you). And forward/wide players that are absolutely not good enough for this league. Unless we can add creativity to the wide areas and also centre mid and someone who can slot, we're going down.

Absolutely awful manager. In game management is pathetic, sticks to the same tactics that clearly don't work. Bemoans DCL being injured because we 'need that focal point because its so important to our game' then signs Neal Maupay instead of a target man. He talks a good game at times but is constantly making excuses and on the charm offensive. Can see right through it. When he blamed the fans after the last game it was the nail in the coffin for him. We have to get rid or he will take us in to the Championship.
