Benitez had spent £1.7m in the summer window and had about 7-8 injuries to contend with and having to take over from King Carlo and 59 points.

Lampard has spent £80+ million this summer and has only had D.C.L and Godfrey as the real absentees and has basically been given a free pass by the fans and probably the board this season.

You're comparing apples and oranges there im afraid.

the board sold richy. didn’t replace him

thelwell signed mcneil for 35 mills and maupay for 12mills

richys left leg is better than both

Aye. But that first sentence still feels awfully close to an excuse doesn’t it.

Could argue that benitez did better summer business with grey and Townsend over McNeill and maupay - had richarlison fit most of the time - yet couldn’t get the results or performances to match. Could argue that he alienated digne/james and made us weaker.

Could also argue that Lampard had his best player taken away from him and not replaced.

For me. They have / were both been poor appointments in reality (purely results)

I wouldn't say an excuse more being realistic. Lampards had the easiest gig of any EFC manager since Martinez who inherited that Moyes side - if we were 15th currently most fans would be content as expectations are so low.

If Benitez had us 15th there would be riots at Goodison. Thats ultimately the difference both managers walked into tough circumstances but one was doomed from the start whereas the other has a cheerleading club for doing the bare minimum.

Not to mention that fat whack also sold out most creative player, publicly slated and scapegoated our other creative outlet, caused rifts with Richy. Finally, underdone all the defensive work that got us 59 points

All replaced with his fat egotistical bullhead ways and crap yes men players, the tapas tits bellwhiff

Whose bright idea was it sign Garner when we already had 2 new midfielders instead of using that money toward signing a better forward?

One of Ancelotti's biggest points gainers was digne's assists to calvert lewin.
Your mate soon destroyed that.
