I think if we get beat tomorrow and also against Southampton. he will get the boot and rightfully so. I hope we win both and get some attacking reinforcements this month and start looking up the table not down.

Two home defeats will force a decision to be made.

I really dont get the sense that the board want that though. Neither do I get the sense that anything like the majority of fans want it either.

A win against Brighton (or draw + a win against S'ton) settles things down, and a signing or two will be a tonic for the troops.

Have to stay with a bit longer Dave cannot afford the expense of a new manager or his change in the squad.

I don’t think the city game mattered too much. I expect they were looking at the 4 games and thinking he needed to beat wolves and saints and anything extra would be a bonus.

If he was to win the next 2, the situation shifts immensely. But saints is a must win as lose that and we are likely bottom 3. But I don’t think he goes until we are in the bottom 3. If we lost both, we could be 15 points outside the top 10 and could be getting cut off with the bottom 6 and then it becomes a real scrap.

Its up to him now, he can either choose results or his footballing philosophy, to my mind, one or the other will prompt a decision.

Im so over another reboot it’s not even funny, so I hope he chooses the pragmatic path and compromises, often management is about compromising.

I sense that's correct.

The teams below and above us make this a 7 way relegation fight right now anyway, so it;s not as if we're marooned at the bottom with any upcoming defeat. A defeat to Brighton then S'ton might trigger something like, but even then I somehow doubt it.

I'll go bananas if he tries to match up Brighton and go toe to toe.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does either given the pattern last season.

I think though he'll keep it tight tomorrow night. Let Brighton have the ball.

I didn’t like the sounds he made after City, didn’t leave me with hope the penny has dropped mate.
