Im curious, dont want to make a new thread or come across as overly negative.

But simple question, if we get beat tomorrow, would you :

1. Want to see Lampard sacked
2. Give him more time
I have no idea

It probably depends on the nature of our performance. Tuesday looked like he'd lost the dressing. A repeat performance would confirm that to me.

I'm also terrified of who these clowns would have lined up next.

Lampard is finished at this club but changing the manager is no guarantee at all of improvement

Utd would beat us 9 times out of 10 even if we were having a purple patch. It's the sort of game you can bet your life on that we aren't going to win.

Southampton is the one, lose that and I can't see a way forward. Although seeing our performances against better teams there might be some rationale in letting him stay until after Arsenal and Liverpool. The new bloke then doesn't have to face them potentially get thrashed and lose any confidence gained from the new manager bounce... The issue we have is that would only leave 15 games afterwards which is a gamble. Not an easy decision.

It’s hardly Franks fault if poor players like Gordon miss sitters
Gordon isn't a poor player. He may be having a bit of a bad run , but that is not the same thing. He , like many other players , is not giving his best , and part of that is down to the manager to solve.
Frank is underachieving in many ways i.e. tactics , motivating , training regime , lineups , flexibility , substitutions etc..

Big big gamble if he gets the Saints game that is on of our few opportunities for three points I just don't trust him to set us up to win any game in our current spiral
This is the issue. This Lampard team has no style of play irrespective of the players who are put on the pitch.

Look at brighton, they change manager who has come in, and after a few games has settled on a 4 2 3 1 formation.
Most of the top teams use 1 or 2 formations.

Frank has used 6 different formations this season.
Moyes is doing the same now at West Ham with various formations and its no coincidence they are sitting alongside us.
This was also Koeman's downfall. Too much tinkering.

Look at Ancelotti. He has used 4 3 3 in every single Madrid game this season. Each team he managers, he looks at the squad and decides the best formation based on the players available.

The next manager who we appoint has to have a clear way of playing.

Probably be brown shoes and no defence just attack

Gordon missed a sitter against Wolves which could have seen us win that game and change the mood amongst the fan base.

It's a good question MG and I'd also like to flip it around a little

Simple question, we win tomorrow would you :

1. Still like to see him get sacked because it's simply gone too far League form wise
2. Give him more time as he deserves it for winning against the mancs

If I was to answer your your question genuinely mate, I would not want to see Lampard sacked if we get beat tomorrow. I would like him to resign and walk away. So all the attention then falls on those at the top and hopefully he then has half a chance to rebuild his rep and get another job in the future.
