Lol don't be dragging me into your anti board nonsense

But you’re not making sense here? You’re calling it a disgrace that he’s still in charge, yet when someone correctly brings up that it’s the board’s fault he’s still in charge, you start defending the board. Start making sense, like the French police when they tear gassed that violent mob.

I really think he is sincere in his interviews. He just has to turn this around but I literally cannot even fathom a way in which this team comes out on top tomorrow.

Let's say we do have a City-esque performance and fluke through on pens... Is that a turnaround? I'm not so sure.
I don't think a win tomorrow changes anything really, beyond buying him another week or so in the job. Too many league defeats, too many points thrown away against sides around us, too many abject performances. It's got a bit of the feel of the end days a-la Silva and Martinez for me; and Frank is no dummy, he'll know the writing is on the wall. A win tomorrow wont keep his job if there's no win v Saints.

If it does come to it and we do end up pulling the Trigger then we really do have to give full reigns to thellwell on the replacement.

I know this isn't likely with us, but if we don't we may aswell send him packing at the same time cos why else is he here if he cant do his job.
( brands all over again )

If Nuno Santos is the only name in his phonebook, I think I'd rather let Moshiri pluck a name out the hat again tbf.....

I think it will be, it literally can't be anyone else.
Also no chance he goes for Nuno as some have been saying, there was talk a few years ago about him and his backroom staff was too big, no chance we can afford to get them from Saudi Arabia

Think reports said Thelwell was the one having those hard convos with Frank, which would suggest he has some power. Ultimately, Moshiri is the one who makes all decisions.

That and it gives them the opportunity to say Frank's sacking was also based in part on going out of both cup competitions instead of just his league numbers.
Yup. It's almost like they actually don't have KPIs or performance management criteria in place to actually assess his performance. I wonder are these also on the fabled 120 point plan?

The saints match reminds me of the Burnley away game last season,a must not lose game. They just got a new striker, they will win ,new striker scores on debut, it's the Everton way.

Frank has spent very little over the last year compared to his peers and he inherited a side that had won just one match in 13.

Even Allardyce would struggle to keep this set of players in this division. It’s not that they don’t try and don’t want to do well; it’s that they’re simply not good enough. Having said that, some did seem to stop giving their all once the abuse from the fans became particularly intense.

Either way these next few games are probably the most important in our club’s illustrious top-flight history.
Excellent post. I concur with all of your points.

We have been strongly linked with Graham Potter of late, along with Duncan and Martinez and Dyche. One thing I would point out is that Frank had a much better win percentage as Chelsea manager than Frank has.

Hope he's not being hung out to dry by the board, he may be doing rubbish but he doesn't deserve to be shat on. First manager in a while that has connected with the fans, i think only Ancelotti before that back to Martinez first season.

Ancelotti did not connect with the fans, there weren’t any fans allowed in the stadium for most of his tenure.
