I'm not a fan of Dyche. He might keep us in the league but people are treating that like a sure-fire thing. Mad when you consider he was binned last year because his team were one of the ones below us at the time.

At least Dyche would probably take us back up if we did go down.

Lampard couldn't get a good Derby side promoted

[Poor language removed] manager mate. Marginally better than Lampard
Come on mate thats a bit hyperbolic to be polite. A very experienced manager who got a a dinosaur club back to relevance and promoted while keeping them up for years and years. Even finishing high up the table at times. On a shoe string budget. Now I ain't saying Dyche is super dooper fantastic but as far as we can see he is miles better than Frank lampard as a manager. As of this date.

I dont see the match up between Dyche and our personnel. Yes, defensively he'd relish working with the two CBs, but we have FBs who cant defend and upfront no target men to make sense of a long ball.

Those calling for Dyche to be the next manager really need to show their working out here because I'm not seeing it.

Dyche is just this years Allardyce.
Even if he did manage to steer us out of this mess his head will be called for before the seasons out.

Also whether people like it or not the players are still playing for lamps ( Albeit certainly not good enough ) so sacking him now a week before the saints game will really do wonders for the dressing room won't it...
I think we are going to smash Saints

They're defo keeping him for Southampton anyway. Big puff piece interview on twitter for him there.
Realistically there wouldn't be enough time for a new manager to come in etc before then. Why put the stress and pressure on Baines etc. They're probably interviewing people already. If Lampard loses against Southampton which is likely - sacked and new guy in.

Lampard is literally one of the worst managers in the division so that’s a very low bar mate.

Dyche took a team up and kept them up a few times, absolutely nothing special about that. Loads have done it. Off top of me head, Pulis, Jewell, Hughton, Nuno
