I just don’t get the logic of giving him the Southampton game (obviously there is no logic with this board but anyway). If we win, so what? They are bottom of the league with 12 points. What is it really telling us if we beat them? Talk about a low bar. If we get beat, then we are further in the muck with only 2 weeks of the transfer window left for the new manager who we haven’t even approached yet. Baffling.

Nah I’m not having it that resigning would show bottle, that’s a terrible shout. I’m sure he believes he can turn this round, and clearly some others do too. I’d love to believe that’s right but I don’t unfortunately. There should be no hate towards him, he seems like a decent bloke doing his best, he just doesn’t appear to have the necessary quality.
Burnley, almost twice, just got sacked before he could the second time.
I don't think he's all that. He might be better suited to keep us up right now but he'd still need signings - which any manager would need. I don't care who it is. They need players.

Agreed mate but with this board you just know they will probably do it. They get every decision wrong. I mean there are even some Everton fans on the Everton twitter feeds saying back him now just because we played better tonight and because Lampard said we need to play like that every game from now on. We got beat 3 - 1 ffs and have only won 1 game out of the last 11 and 3 in the league out of 18. It is absolute insanity.
People are getting sucked in by tonight's game . Ya we showed a bit of fight and looked a little better. But there wasn't a whole lot of pressure on in a cup game at old Trafford. We showed something similar at city last week and 3 days later got embarrassed at home .

Yes couldn't agree more, unfortunately the modern game they no longer have the love of the badge as hardly any local players so they don't have that connection.
