People saying this but dont know whether powers that be are Everton, or Premier League;

Question: The fact that the window is still open like this and you're still looking to do deals, how does it impact you day-to-day because obviously you've got to think about and concentrate on preperations for the games"

Lampard: "It is what it is. This job is consuming in many ways, we're very fortunate to have these jobs and I'm very fortunate to do what I do. You strive every day to improve the club and the team and while the window is open, it's part of your job. I hope the powers that be understand this isn't the perfect way to do it. It's far too long into the season. There's no doubt. We want to look into the season with an idea about fairness, well fairness isnt the right word but balance to the season that teams can construct a squad that can go from the start of the season to the end of the season and now we're going to be, by the time the window shuts, we're nigh on 6 games in. It's a lot of games, for me it doesn't feel right. I hope they get that right next time"
That's definitely about the PL transfer window dates.

So chatting wham then, sound.
Sure he was just venting in a sarcastic way due to the total frustration felt by many here on GOT and the Wider Everton world.
Its a troubling time and set of circumstances we as fans and as a Club face. GOT and similar are here to vent your spleen within boundaries so while it may be wham its what we all do to different degrees.

There is too much tension around!

We need a few wins, goals, good performances and signings to lift the mood, but what will be will be.

Its a tough life being a Blue, for sure.

Only if you let it.

Am I hearing this correctly?

Around 21:20 on the recent press interview, one of the journalist casually just says, “Brentford f’d Man United, Leeds f’d Chelsea”.

It could change if Chelsea or any other club put big cash on the table between £60M and £70m, but short of that Gordon looks like he's a red-line for Lampard.

He needs to be congratulated and supported for that if it has been his position.

…you no longer believe the club are forcing a sale then?

Where did I say that?

This quote means it's 100% the PL he's referring to:

You should buy an Everton shirt with 'Soopa Frank' on the back, as a show of good faith ?

Just move on from the impotent back 5 already, it will cost him his job if he does not. I don’t believe Everton have rejected 50 million for Gordon. It’s another load of media nonsense, just like the takeover story that has disappeared into nowhere.
