Tbh, my viewpoint relates to reviewing rather than previewing. I don't know what the future holds, but I've seen things change quickly many times in football, with clubs going up and down from season to season rather than steady incremental progress from year to year.

As a review, 15th place and small marginal progress from last season is barely progress at all imo.

Last year, defence was terrible. Midfield was terrible. Attack was the same, if not marginally better. We're making more chances this year, but not taking them.

It didn't relegate us then, and it won't relegate us this season.

We need goalscorers. That's the only thing that gets you safe.

Never heard of him or seen him play but I can tell you that I have never been as excited about us siging a player as I am right now, sat here, thinking about what he will bring. UTFT!

Not really. I think we should be competing with anyone outside the top six and this includes the mighty Newcastle, who seem to have gone from Championship standard to European hopefuls in less than 12 months.

I think finishing in a similar position to last season can’t be considered progress and would actually be rather disappointing if you accept that the midfield and defence are much improved.
