I would have expected to see some improvement this season and hoped a better style of Football.
It's just like the Big Sam days in style but not getting the wins that Sam got.
Probs because many turned their noses up at him. Same people that said Gabriel jesus wasn't good enough for us couple years back
It's too early to talk about going down. There's a big difference between being in a potential relegation fight and being doomed to go down.
I go back to the simple point... The idea that just changing manager and everything gets better, is based on zero substance. Carlo Ancelotti couldn't fix this squad, so why would changing manager again be the solution.
Saturday is a big game. If we lose then yes we will be in an uncomfortable position, but still well over half the season to go.
I agree with your point but please don't make me start doing this again. IT'S A DIFFERENT SQUAD! 14 first team players have signed since Ancelotti left, and many of his regulars have left. It's not the same squad at all. It's too early to talk about going down. There's a big difference between being in a potential relegation fight and being doomed to go down.

O think it's the circumstances he took over Newcastle at a similar time to lampard and has a far superior record, thats all I can see.I still don't see why it's relevant. He didn't come here, he isn't coming here.

We don't play anything like big Sam. We overplay at the back and get caught in possession in bad areas. If anything, it's more Bobby Martinez than Big Sam.
Do people actually watch the team?
I thought the exact same thing when people were chatting about it last year. It became a very real possibility after the New Year for a lot of people.
I'm firmly in the belief that if we're in another relegation battle this year then for me that represents no progress.
As I said, I agree with the basis of your point, but there's no point harking back to a completely different squad to make it.It's a far weaker squad than Ancelotti had. If anything that backs up the point even more.
It's nothing like how Martinez played, it's really not.
Hasn't scored in 9 games. He would fit in well here.Probs because many turned their noses up at him. Same people that said Gabriel jesus wasn't good enough for us couple years back
