To be replaced by who though? Because its all very well and good sacking him when the only managers available now who are good enough to turn the club around wouldn't even entertain joining the us. Who are we supposed to turn to? Thomas Frank?! Sam Allardyce?! Because that's the type of manager we'd have to take at this point if we did show Lampard the door.

Villa managed to pluck 5 time Europa League winner Unai Emery from Villarreal. Wolves have just hired ex-Spain, Real Madrid and Sevilla manager Lopetegui.

The draw of the premier league is massive, the draw of this football club moving into a brand new stadium will be massive.

The person who liked your post has been backing Keane for eternity...until this performance.

What if they had got injured?

bournemouth also swapped alot of their players...but won. If we had won then no one would be bothered.

He's done with a lot of them.

Key is we should want to back THIS manager.

Thing is for me mate, and dont know if you've seen my posts am 100% not saying sack this manager. However like any manager he shouldn't be beyond criticism.

Last night for me is on him, he picked the players who nearly relegated us last season, in a formation which clearly they couldn't play last season which is why he switched it.

His subs are at times baffling and he doesn't seem to know how to change a game tactically.

I dont want him sacked, we can't carry on with that, but he isn't beyond criticism and last night he has massively put the pressure on himself - not the league 2 footballers he picked last night - unfortunately most of those players have been through 4/5 managers, if it carries on I fear our crazy owner will let them see another one out the door.

Go out and get Tuchel.

Is it not possible that having players who can't score goals is also exacerbated by having a poor manager? Doucoure has scored for Everton and can finish. We know this because we've seen it in the past. He has gone to muck since Lampard has come in. No player looks better at finishing since Lampard has come in. We lose on Saturday and Lampard will do a 'that's one for the players' again but he has to stop looking like he has been dealt a bad hand. We are Everton and bad squad or not we should be demanding better.

Franks gotta follow up on his post match comments and not even pick Keane, Mina, Holgate or Davies in the match day squad for Saturday and going forward - they should be done and if he didn’t know it before last night, he should clearly know it now. Give the kids he was talking up a chance to show what they can do.

If the usual wage thieves are in the squad come Saturday, he’s not even listening to himself so why should the players listen to him?

He scored 4 goals in 64 games for us, 2 a season

'In terms of the set-up of the game, I made changes because I've got to protect players who have got niggles or are playing again with the [short] turnaround for a really important league game on Saturday. But I also made changes because some players have been knocking on my door wanting to play and some players have trained well and made a case for playing. You put them in because they play for Everton and they should be able to come to Bournemouth and compete. Without even going into the nitty gritty details, they should be able to because there's a lot of experience in that team. They didn't do that – it's clear as day. I think the fans saw that.'

Frank knows exactly what he's doing here. He knows the fans despise these players. And he is siding with the fans. A sort of 'what else do you want me to do?'

It makes fans feel as if he is one of them except he is not. He is the manager and to be honest, it is unfair to publicly hang your players like this.

I never thought I'd be one of those people to blame the fans for the state of the club and (even now I'd still put it at a distant third behind the incompetence of the owner/board and the disgraceful lack of effort from the teams most of the time) but you know what? Our fans are to blame for a great chuck of this situation. How is any manager ever supposed to turn things around if he's never given the time to do it? Lampard, his successor or his successors successor will never be able to fix and rebuild this club if they get shown the door 9 to 10 mouths into the job every single time. We've got to keep faith with someone at some point or we'll be sacking three to four managers in league two five or six years from now. I'm not saying that Lampard is above criticism, far from it (his selection last night was ludicrous!) but at what point do we stand by a boss at this club?
I am still behind Lampard and he has to be given another window to sort the attack out.
He has made mistakes but let's not forget where the real blame lies for the demise of the club and that falls at Bill Kenwrights door.
As for blaming the fans I think the vast majority are behind Frank and are praying he pulls through. Chelsea fans were booing Potter at half time at the weekend so if we are bad fans what does that make them?
I would give Frank the full season and make a judgement then. The January window is crucial we need 2 goalscorer and if that means selling Gordon to fund it so be it.
As for DCL I was never convinced by him and we certainly can't rely on him this season unless it is just to come off the bench.

The managers suggested on here are all just coaches, we don’t need a coach we need someone to rebuild the whole playing structure. The first team squad is wafer thin as shown last night, I really don’t think there’s any ‘top coach’ who could come in and do any better with the playing staff we have.
Last night showed the scale of the problem, these players are on first team wages and need to be washed out of the club, I’m not sure replacing Lampard now with a Tuchel or someone will really change the underlying factors here, just hide them for a few matches until we get an injury to someone critical to the first team.
