Honestly, we’ve had more than 50% of the ball once all season, allow more shots on goal than any other team in the league, and create a chance about once every three games, and people come on without a hint of irony and say ‘he’s sorted the midfield out though’. It’s a staggering lack of awareness of what’s happening.
I think it’s clear there are problems all over the pitch. Individually the defenders have done ok this season - As a team I’d say we are defensively not very good.

The midfield is overrun because of the man in charge currently. An Iwobi Onana Gueye midfield should not be getting overrun by Bournemouth or Fulham.
But they do.

It’s not Murican football mert, players actually have to take responsibility when they’re on the pitch.

Professionals, will ignore the managers tactics and do what’s best for the team when they get a feel for the game

Ignore the managers tactics lmaoooo.

So he's gone right?

Dyche would send us down. It's the same thing we're doing now. Defend deep, concede tons of low quality shots and pray you score somehow. The only thing he'd do better is properly lean into and time waste and s-house from minute one.
Defensive organization is more than just defending deep. And that's exactly what Sean Dyche can do. Bournmouth controlled space today without the ball and that was due to good defensive organisation. Not conceding is more valuable than scoring a goal (point average).

Stuff it. No point in sacking Frank. Forget DCL he is useless anyway. Sign two forwards and a midfielder and get some results in the new year. If we avoid the drop reconsider who should replace the current manager.

No that’s a player problem, you tell people to press and they can’t see the run off, that’s a player issue
If you think pressing at this level isn't a highly organized tactical exercise that is reflective of the manager in a very large part you just are missing a lot I'm afraid. Even Bournemouth is too good for "go press lads" to work. lol

He changed the shape of the midfield a month ago for no apparent reason. And now we cant defend or attack.

Our tempo is non existent. Our passing is sideways. Our aggression levels are appalling. We carry no threat. We give up an absolute ton of transitions.

I hate everything we've done in the last 4 games. Its not Everton football. Its just crap and it doesn't work.

The bit that tips it over the edge is he gave up our chances on Tuesday to prioritise today, and this was how we responded. Thats just appalling management and deserves the sack.
