He changed the shape of the midfield a month ago for no apparent reason. And now we cant defend or attack.

Our tempo is non existent. Our passing is sideways. Our aggression levels are appalling. We carry no threat. We give up an absolute ton of transitions.

I hate everything we've done in the last 4 games. Its not Everton football. Its just crap and it doesn't work.

The bit that tips it over the edge is he gave up our chances on Tuesday to prioritise today, and this was how we responded. Thats just appalling management and deserves the sack.
He changed the shape to get Onana further up the pitch, but it has worked.

We had a 4-1-4-1 with Iwobi and Onana playing behind Muapay. I’d imagine the hope to push us forward and have more bodies up top

But it hasn’t worked, it’s made more open so I’d imagine he’ll revert back

If you think pressing at this level isn't a highly organized tactical exercise that is reflective of the manager in a very large part you just are missing a lot I'm afraid. Even Bournemouth is too good for "go press lads" to work. lol
What?

You can work on pressing all week, if a player switches off its game over. The same as defending set pieces, and every other aspect of the game

Your statical websites don’t give you knowledge of the game mert

Very worrying.

He got it wrong again, but has been badly let down too - I said as much in the summer.

Either sack him or back him in this break, and by back him, it means Thelwell and the board pulling their fingers out and actually doing some work on getting attackers in come January 1.

Even if they do sack him, the new manager would need those players too.

I repeat, this side is absolutely dreadful, because it cannot score goals.

Its been horrible. It was horrible 2 weeks ago. It was horrible last week. It was horrible today.

We have bad players but there is absolutely no excuse to be this bad against a crap Bournemouth team. I'm embarrassed, I'm fed up, I don’t care if he gets sacked because he has no excuses.

I could set up a bunch of average league 2 players to be compact and counter attack on that Everton side.
